Hampton Inn Cortland - Hotel in Cortland - 26 River St, USA

Hampton Inn cortland is a very nice place to stay while traveling. I reserved our room with the Hilton Honors app, using the points I had accumulated from past stays. Check-in was easy and quick. The room was nice. The shower pressure is excellent. The beds were very comfortable. The only thing we didn't care for was the divided waste basket, label trash on one side and recycle on the other side, its not big enough for the trash. They have a nice breakfast buffet. Coffee, tea & hot chocolate are available 24 hours a day up by the front desk. Hampton Inns have some of the best coffee ☕️. They also have a little snack shop area with seating by the front desk. I highly recommend staying there when traveling.

It's Hampton Inn, a Hilton brand, so there's an expectation of quality. This location mostly lives up to that level of expectation. Indoor pool and a small fitness center, but the room was closed and dark when I visited. There's a lot of stores nearby in the area. But they close early. The hotel has a well stocked sundries area including mini frozen pizza that you can microwave in your room. The coffee and hot water in the lobby was well stocked. And the common areas were clean. Breakfast spread was typical fare for a Hampton - thawed/reheated eggs, breakfast meats, all kinds of bakery goods, yogurt, fruits and waffles to make. Rooms are dated and definitely show signs of wear and tear from guests over the years. Dust caked the shelves and particularly the coffee maker which was dusty and full of calcium buildup in the chamber you should put the water. The staff seemed on top of things. Particularly impressive since the amount of families that were here and demanding.

The Hampton is expensive. I've been there three times. The only nice thing is the rooms are clean. The coffee has been cold all 3 times I was there. The last time (not due to the staff's fault) there was not enough food for breakfast and the hotel was packed. I'm going to Cortland this weekend but I'm not staying overnight. I'll get coffee from McDonald's where it is hot.

As a Hilton Honors diamond member and a diamond at 3 other hotel chains this was the first time that I felt valued. I walked into to the room and greeted by a message on the TV, it said " Welcome Mark, Hilton Honors Diamond". In 4.5 years 320 hotels a year, this was worth it. You want to be treated like a human being then you need to stay here.

Very handy to the highway for travellers. Clean rooms and pretty soundproof walls. Breakfast was hot and plentiful even with large amounts of guests.

The best hotel we have ever stayed at traveling 3 years to wrestling tournaments and this hotel was just awesome clean, quiet staff was great as well rooms were clean pool was clean breakfast was on point . Thank you Hampton hotel in Cortland Ny we will see you guys again soon

The employees are great! The guy that does the breakfast in the morning asked what my son likes to eat. My son said that he likes bacon. So the guy made a plate of bacon the next morjust for him! It was so nice!

Room was terrific! Very clean and comfortable and the hotel was lovely and quiet. Ken at the front desk was amazing.
