Hampton Inn Colorado Springs-Airport - Hotel in Colorado Springs - 2077 Aerotech Dr, USA

I might have had a bad room. Just saying , but my room felt like an old military building. It was clean and functional, but not very aesthetic. The free breakfast 🍳 was really well put together and the staff was very nice. My room had a refrigerator, a nice TV, decent Internet and a comfortable bed. I just wouldn't plan a romantic getaway here. 😁. It was a 9 minute drive to the airport

I don’t understand how anybody could be excited about this place. The staff was nice and the breakfast was acceptable and the coffee was definitely good. Having a comfortable bed without sheets that smell like fabric softener is a pretty big deal and this hotel had that which was great. However, the air conditioning and heating system was very dated - with paper taped on the thermostat to tell me to use the manual controls on the air conditioner…which was barely able to blow air. The other mismatched furniture was well-used as well. I don’t know how anyone could consider that this was recently remodeled. The bathroom felt to be beneath the expectations of a Hampton. The wifi simply didn’t work. The lobby certainly does not feel modern in any way. I was depressed by it at first sight. I would stay here if I had to again but it definitely wouldn’t be a choice high on my list. I am sorry if I hurt anyone’s feelings at the hotel for giving a truthful review like this, but it was certainly not a positive experience that I’d like to repeat.

The rooms are very large; it felt like a business class room, the one i was in. Very special to me and was the biggest highlight! Couldn't hear anything outside of the room which was great! Also the door was able to prop open so I could roll the cart in and out easier. Breakfast was normal as most hotels, but they had cheese omlettes and potatoes! Service was good. I checked in and out quick.-- but I did book in advance online at the Hilton website The cons: Some hotels use liquid soaps mounted on the walls, but this one still had the classic bar soaps. They also still have the classic tub/shower combo. I personally don't like these and prefer stand up showers. They're much more elegant and look and feel better. I doubt anyone takes a bath in a public tub anyways. Also was expensive. Overall, a solid location to stay for the nice room sizes and i would stay again, though, I wouldn't do it on my own dime because of the price.

A nice place to stay. Enjoyed the breakfast, newspaper and pool. Had a restful night. Dogs were allowed. Room was comfortable and quiet. The closet was in an interesting location - along the wall by the window.

This location was great . Quiet area and less than 10 minutes to the airport. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend it . The rooms were clean as well as the rest of hotel. There is a gas station less than a minute away to fill your rental vehicle up before heading to airport.

The front desk staff, Dee, she was very nice, cheerful, and helpful. She was very nice to talk with. I hope the next hotel I stay in, it has such a wonderful person to greet me.

Very clean hotel and great service! Close to the airport and places to eat on Powers Blvd. The bed was comfortable, too. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice and clean. Would recommend.

The hotel staff was courteous and helpful and the room was clean and quiet, even being next to a stairwell. Overall it was a good stay, and the breakfast was good each day. Good for a work trip. I took a star off because the dryer was broken and I there was no sign or guidance on not trying to use it or the washer.
