This is an excellent clean and spaciout hotel. The customer service was top notch! | From the moment I called to book a room over the phone, to check in, to breakfast, it was all smooth and wonderful. Even when we couldn't figure out the TV and called the desk the lady came up immediately to help us figure it out. All the staff was great and more than willing to help. |Don't let the review about the door and the key cards "not working" sway you. It was explained to us, that the hotel has extra security. In other words, only guests can us the elevator. You have to swipe your card to go to your floors on the elevator or the stairwells. No key card, no entry!! ONLY the checked-in guests have access to the upper floors. Only the checked-in guests can enter the hotel after 10 pm! Yes, at the main door we had to get buzzed in after 10 pm, but we did not have to wait because the front desk person was right there at the desk ready to let us in because we showed our card. (Pretty simple... keep the card in your pocket!)||All in all, we had a great stay and felt super safe here. A++++ We look forward to staying here again when we are in town!!

No bed bugs! I was not happy with how unclean the room was. It smelled good and it looked nice but there was a condom wrapper in the floor and bloody snot all over the sheet on one of the beds and on a pillow and the cover. Clearly one of the beds was not changed out. Bathroom floor was dirty. Paying one hundred and seventy dollars for one night in a dirty room doesn't make me happy at all. Otherwise it was nice, the pool seemed like it could use a good cleaning but my husband and I used it anyway since we were there. Staff was nice as we were checking out, I told them about the room (it was late and storming when we got there) she said she was going up to check it out right there but no apologies or discount was offered.

We stayed 7/21 - 7/23 with my service animal during the Windows attack. They could not make cards for our rooms all weekend. We had to be walked to the elevator and to our rooms everywhere we went. I have a service animal, so this became cumbersome with taking the dog out. Basically, I had to walk up/down three flights of stairs to let the dog use the bathroom in the middle of the night countless times. Then, i had to ring a doorbell for someone to let me in. I continued to ask for cards during our stay, but none were available. The staff courteous until the last day when the kitchen decided to stop cooking breakfast. We waited for an hour and went to Starbucks. I do feel management should have proactively contacted us to offer a rebate for the inconvenience and pointed this out to the front desk clerk. She said she would contact her manager, but we have not heard back. Not really what I would expect for $150 a night. ||I contacted other hotels around the same time. Cards were available the day following the attack. ||Notations:|- Their were no dog bags by waste container either night|- The room did not have conditioner

I am a former employee, and unfortunately my car broke down leaving me with no transportation. So I had no choice but to quit, and I let the general manager know I hated to do this. But it was unexpected. Three weeks went by with no paycheck. I was told there was a paper check there. I went in to pick it up, and noticed they spelled my name wrong on the check. I attempted to contact Kristen (general manager) with no luck. I even left a message for her to call me, but she didn't. So I went to hotel 8/10/2024 to speak to her. She was with a quest who was having issues with his reservation. I found Kristen to be extremely rude, short, and sarcastic with this gentleman. After she was done with him, I felt I was being under attack by her as well. I was calmly trying to explain my situation and out of no where, she tells me to leave or she was going to call the police. "REALLY"? I did NOT deserve this. And was not doing anything to her, to warrant this. I have been in management for many years, and you certainly do not conduct your self in that manner, whether it's a guest or whom ever. She might be able to fool her boss by the way she conducts herself around him, but I have seen her true colors. If there is cameras in the lobby, you can see how she handles herself, and in certain situations. Very unprofessional, and extremely disrespectful.

I would give this review fewer stars if it wasn't for the amazing hard work of the gentleman working the front desk when we checked in at nearly midnight. I think his name was Jim, but whatever they're paying him, it's not enough. Jim was so genuinely friendly and welcoming, making conversation and just being an inviting, kind face after our long day on the road. Jim was dealing with a domestic dispute in another room. For what we saw of it, Jim was calm and descalating the tense situation, while also helping us with what we needed. Seriously - give this man a raise because he's carrying the rest of your hotel. The room had serious issues. One - the comforter had a stain on it that looked to be blood. Not something we wanted to see turning down the bed after a long day. My daughter was grossed out and refused to sleep under it (thanks for the extra blankets, Jim!) Two (and most concerning) - my 12 year old immediately picked up a strange pill from the floor by the bed upon entering the room. This was absolutely inexcusable. Thank heavens we don't have a younger child. And it wasn't a small pill either, it was about the size of a half dollar (I googled and found it was an anti-acid). The breakfast was okay, but the front desk women basically ignored us (they were no Jim!).

We were a large family group gathered for the weekend and most of us chose to stay here. Those that checked in during the day had a smooth checkin process. Those that checked in during the late evening (after 10pm) were met with rather unprofessional and unhelpful desk staff who were making a game of trying to guess the names of people as they walked in based on the reservations that were still open. Front desk staff was mixed over our stay as far as who was helpful and who seemed completely annoyed that they had to be there. ||My room was very comfortable and clean. The a/c was cold, the power window shades are wonderful for room darkening as needed. The pool was loved by all, especially the young ones, and the hotel overall is attractive and clean. ||The free breakfast was not well maintained. Everything was hot but they regularly ran out of items and we had to constantly knock on the service door to request refills. Most other places I've stayed with an in-hotel breakfast have staff come walking around all the time to check on what is running low, but the staff here just hung out in the back room. Every time we'd have to ask for something, the staff would act surprised that the item was gone. They would know if they'd just come out and look once in a while! I get it, it's "free", except it's not really free (you know it's baked into the cost of the room). ||The location is convenient to several fast food restaurants, close to route 23, and close to the Walmart (walking distance if you wanted) so if Circleville area is your destination, it's not a bad place to stay. Just wish the service weren't so mixed.

Very happy with hotel entrance, lobby, and seating area as well as room. I was assigned a spacious king-size room with couch and desk area. The room appeared to be clean. However, the couch was slightly faded, and a few stains on the room carpet. The breakfast food offerings were very limited Compared to other Hampton Inn, hotels that I have recently stayed at and the sausage patties appeared to be gray and color so we were either left over or were of a inferior quality. Lastly, I requested an additional housekeeping day and it was honored. I would definitely stay at this hotel in the future future.

We stayed 7/21 - 7/23 with my service animal during the Microsoft attack. They could not make cards to our rooms all weekend, unlike other hotels I contacted but we decided to stay and deal with the inconvenience. Having to take my service animal up and down three flights of steps ten times a day during my vacation to Hawking Hills really put a damper on the whole trip. Staff were available to let you into the elevator, fitness area and your room, but it felt extremely intrusive. People like to come and go in hotels. When I took my dog out at night, I had to ring a doorbell to get back in the building and have a staff member let me into the building and my room. Seemed to be a huge privacy invasion. The staff did very well until the last day when they kept saying breakfast was ready and it never came. We waited an hour and went to Starbucks. The hotel was also missing dog bags for waste in the dog collection area for the whole trip so we had to walk to Wal-Mart to get bags to clean up after our dog. Lastly, the room did not contain conditioner. I brought this up with reception on 7/21 because I feel that I should not have to pay full price for the multiple inconveniences. Reception said she would speak with management, but we have not been contacted. My daughter plays travel softball. We only utilize Hamptons as we travel coast to coast every week. I will be contacting our organizers to change future hotel plans. We gave Hampton about $358 for a two night’s stay to ruin my vacation.
