The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating regarding calls prior to the trip as well as during the stay. The hotel was clean and it was nice having a microwave. Sabrina, who was the breakfast attendant worked hard keeping the food area supplied and very clean. She too was friendly and accommodating, handling the holiday crowd with ease. The overall stay was a great experience.
Pros: The staff was the nicest and most welcoming I have ever experienced. The sweetest of them all was Krusher, who checked us in and gave great recommendations about restaurants and experiencing the Charleston area. Breakfast was delicious and slightly varied daily. The lobby/dining area was clean, nicely decorated, and well maintained. The location is convenient and had sufficient parking. Cons: Many amenities were unavailable/out of order. The pool was closed and had unsightly green water. We visited during summer vacation, so it would have been nice to use the pool. One of their two elevators was out of order. But the most disappointing part was that during our 3 night stay, no one came to stock toiletries or towels nor did they make the beds. Well, during the third day, our trash was removed. At check in we were told that after our second night we would have our room cleaned, it didn't happen. Considering the price we paid, we expected differently.
Extended staycation with my wife and we had a great stay. It was quiet and relaxing! The front desk was very welcoming, helpful and courteous!! Sabrina kept the breakfast area and the food hot, stocked and clean! ( I wish there was some grits!!😀)
We have stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns and I would rate this one as below average. This appears to be an older hotel that has been renovated. The lobby area is nice and I liked the artwork of Charleston around the hotel. Rooms were adequate, comfortable bed. Nothing special about breakfast. They had waffles, one type of egg and potato. Minimal baked goods and minimal toppings for oatmeal. Not terrible, just nothing but the minimum. The second day coffee was undrinkable. The pool was full of algae during our stay. Or maybe it is always that way, I don't know, but it was not appealing and disappointing. I asked the front desk if it would be cleaned during our stay and she did not know. She said someone had been there to service the pool that day, yet it looked gross. So if you want to go in a pool, this is not the place.
We love staying at Hampton Inns. Always have clean rooms, hospitable staff, great breakfast! This hotel is located in a safe area and close to downtown and shopping and restaurants. Thank you Darryl and Sabrina for you dedication and service for breakfast
Sabrina and Darryl are the friendliest people ever!!! Their complimentary breakfast is AMAZINGGGGG!! All of the staff here are so polite and friendly! The beds slept soooooo good!!! 10/10 recommend Hampton Inn by Hilton!! This was my first time in Charleston and i don’t have not one complaint, at all!!!!! Thanks you guys for being so welcoming and amazing! We will definitely be back!! Btw, also, this is the absolute best place to shop til you drop!!!! We’re going home with the car full to the brim!! lol!! Happy staying!!
Great customer service and friendly staff. The rooms were spacious and clean as well. Sabrina of the staff worked hard to ensure the breakfast was hot and environment clean. Thanks everyone for contributing to a great visit. We had a great trip overall.
First, let me say, I have had a total Knee replaced on March 20th of this year. Second, my wife had a Meniscus repaired in late May. We were visiting the Charleston area to spend time looking for a home. I have been a Hilton Honors member for many years. I have stayed at Hilton properties as our first choice when traveling. In all the trips I have made this hotel failed to meet any form of Hilton quality, with one very notable exceptional employee. HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR STEPHANIE MOORE we would have left after the first night. There was only one Elevator working when we arrived. It failed to operate several times causing us to use the stairs up and down from the 3rd floor. With our current physical condition, very difficult and painful. Fortunately, Miss Moore moved us to the first floor which helped us a lot. In addition, the Breakfast was substandard and very little variety and quantity. I mentioned this to the manager, and the next morning, there was improvement. Which indicates poor supervision. Again I want to personally commend Stephanie Moore for her commitment to provide quality quests service and a wonderful ability to serve others!!!

Upon check-in, I discovered that my reservation had been changed to a King room, despite needing two double beds. However, the desk clerk went above and beyond to promptly resolve the issue. What impressed me the most was her attention to detail, as
Such a nice hotel for the price. Very modern, very clean and upscale details. The staff was also so wonderful. If you are attending an event at the North Charleston coliseum, this is the perfect spot and itâs right next door.

We loved the hotel. It smelled clean, and it was visibly clean. The desk personnel and the young lady working in the breakfast area were very nice and polite. As far as location, it was easy to get to. Our only real complaint was that the beds and pi
