Everything seemed brand new but we were told it was built 5 years ago. Everything was very very clean and well cared for. The beds and pillows were comfy. They supply personal items at the front desk if you forgot something. The pool looked clean and inviting and the hours it was open were very reasonable. There was a patio outside the pool area with nice lounge seating. The carpet in the hallways had nice padding so we felt like we were in a more upscale hotel. The front desk attendants were efficient, friendly and helpful. There is a great Mexican Restaurant across the parking lot and you get 10% off your bill when you show them your key card for the hotel. Breakfast was great! Some of the best scrambled eggs I've ever had in a hotel breakfast buffet. And the bacon was wonderfully thin in crunchy! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
Had a pre paid reservation for 6 nights. When arrived they told me 5 nights. Showed confirmation for 6 nights. Rude employee said taken care of. Confirmed with her later in evening and she barely looked at me and said rudely “I said yes”. Well, after 5 nights, they locked me out of room. Only way to get in is if I paid for the 6th night which I showed I already paid for in confirmation. Spoke to another rude employee - Holly - she said has to charge me or won’t unlock my door. Told me manager would be in at 7pm to clear up. They charged me AGAIN. At 7 pm I go to front desk and they tell me manager doesn’t come in until next day. Then said well she will be in at 11 pm. Another lying rude employee that kept saying don’t you understand how this works. I said yes. I pay for 6 nights. I have a confirmation. And I DO NOT GET CHARGED AGAIN AND HAVE THE HITEL HOLD MY BELONGINGS HOSTAGE. ||DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! I will be disputing the charge. Terrible service. Terrible employees. They should find a career in anything other than hospitality. Hilton should be ashamed.
Stayed one night for business. Staff was friendly and courteous. For a hotel adjacent to a major university, room had no USB ports (even the alarm clock was lacking a USB port). Doors to hotel rooms should close gently and quietly not abruptly and loud. Tub drained slowly, an issue that housekeeping should have noticed when they cleaned the tub. Overall, however, the stay was good and the breakfast area kept up with the demand. I will consider staying at the nearby Hilton Garden Inn next time.
Conveniently located near UI campus. We were able to walk to campus and nearby restaurants. The room (333) was spacious with separate sitting area and couch. Plenty of space for toiletries and also an area for working on a computer. The breakfast staff was friendly and helpful. One nice surpise for our family - there were packages of guacamole in the fridge! I did not try it, but I was told that it made good avocado toast.
If I would have listened to the Reviews I would have not stayed at this location but the convenience to the College made it easy. First walked in during noon on a Friday the Lobby smelled amazing housekeeping cleaning and everything was so clean. My room was not ready until 3pm but we stored luggage and went out to lunch. There is a gym and pool on premises they also have a 24 hour coffee and tea station which is very convenient. Breakfast is included with your stay from 6am to 11am. Breakfast entails waffle station, fresh oatmeal with toppings, bagels, cereal station, English muffins, boiled eggs. The specials differ daily one day good be grits biscuits and mini omelette or red potatoes sausage and bacon. So impressed with the breakfast they also provide apple juice and orange . The room was very clean housekeeping are very detailed in their work at this location. Highly impressed .
So far, it’s awful! We arrived at 11:30 PM to an inconceivably unprofessional and rude front desk clerk who told us we were not supposed to be coming in through the front door. Our flight was delayed and we got in hours later than planned, so I had checked in online with a digital key. We got to our room to find there were no appropriate linens for the pull out bed, and only 3 total pillows for the 5 of us in a king suite. When my son went to the desk to ask for more pillows, they told him they didn’t have any and then turned him away. Additionally, there are not even enough towels for each of us to take a shower. We are Hilton Honors members and stay in Hilton hotels quite frequently. I have never not been given a bottle of water when checking in or had it waiting for me in my room. Nothing here! It’s been about 40 minutes since we arrived and this is already the worst Hampton Inn I’ve stayed in! Just ridiculous! I wish I had not prepaid for the military rate- cause I’d certainly go find a Marriott!
Stayed here on a road trip this past weekend. Knew I was going to be on the road early so I had bought fruit and yogurt to make an early getaway. The woman who checked me in was polite, but not overly helpful (no offer of snacks for a Diamond member, etc) and she wasn't about to move off her chair, another person had to reach my complimentary water bottles. On to the room, it was dated, quite, but clean as far as I could tell. Notably - and unusual for a Hampton, there was no refrigerator to store my breakfast goodies. Asked the same woman at the front if it was possible to get a mini-fridge, she said sorry, we're full, don't have that. 5 minutes later the other person who had been up front knocked on my door and confirmed the fridge request, then went and got one. Outstanding service by the second woman, who said her name was Heaven. So, it's a mixed bag, but these rooms need the standard mini fridge that is at 98% of Hamptons.
I wouldn't stay here again. Photos on the website are downright false advertising. Hot tub is cemented over which I didn't know until I got down there in my suit. Rooms are clean but furniture and furnishings are in extremely rough shape. Positive was the Staff was a 10/10 - very nice and accommodating.

An amazing place at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign campus. Nice walking trail, lots of trees as well as flowers. This year it is exceptional that we didn't see lots of fall colors here. In the previous few years, there were mesmerizing
This is a wonderful place for young and old alike! They have a children's garden and plenty of gardens for adults to look at. It's a must see!! Great place to get ideas for your own flower gardens.

I've been here for lectures, poetry readings, and concerts. It's a really nice multipurpose venue. Usually has food and drink available prior to events. I must say that the steps up to the building are formidable. There must be an accessible entrance
