We were in town for the BMW championship at Castle Pines, I believe the hotel was sold out because of it. We were able to check in early, which was amazing as we were with my three year old. Every person I encountered at the front desk was so friendly. Hotel was very clean. Great spread for breakfast. Plenty of parking and so close to the Outlets and tons of food options. Would definitely stay again!
Very nice hotel! The rooms were spacious, and clean, the staff was so nice and the breakfast was great. Right by the interstate but I couldn't hardly hear the noise I have to sleep with the fan on anyway and I barley heard a semi go by. If you have the windows open then yes its loud. The pool and hot tub were the perfect temperature clean and always tidy. Definitely staying here again soon! Not too far from Colorado springs and Denver.
This was the second time booking at this hotel, and definitely the last. After arriving at the hotel, I was informed that they would not recognize our emotional support animal as a service animal because it was a CAT and would have to pay a $75 fee. Although this is Hampton Inn policy, they could but would not waive the fee. I stayed at another Hampton Inn the night before with no issue as it's left to the discretion of the front desk person. I decided to not pay the fee and go next door to the Hilton, which is under the same ownership and had no issue. They welcomed us in with no additional fees.||I went back the next morning to see the manager, who wasn't available the night before and she informed me that she would look into a refund, but it's been over 2 weeks, and nothing has been communicated. She did state that they have the means to waive the fee but decided not to. I am not overly concerned with the lost $150 as I made the decision not to stay there, but greed over a $75 pet fee for a 2.5lb cat has lost a customer for life. ||If you're in the area and traveling with an animal, the Hilton next door is your place to stay!
So the service was decent. Their digital keys weren't working. So I couldn't do self check in. Our door had a large gap so a lot of hall way light came in compared to normal. Also our sink leaked. Beds are firm which is not my favorite style. The service was good though. Prices were fair.
We stayed at the Hampton Inn Castle Rock for almost a month while waiting on our house.
During that time we captured the following observations:
Pros
- Staff is amazing, from front desk to cleaning. Everyone took pride in their job and the place was cleaned very well.
- Rooms were spacious, modern, and accepted digs which was clutch in our case
- location is good with just a short drive to the outlets and downtown Castle Rock
- Rooms were affordable
Cons
- Being right off the interstate, it tends to get noisy but quiets down at around 10 at night
- The building is not well insulated between floors. The noise from above sounded like elephants tap dancing. We were consistently awakened by noise from upstairs. Recommend you get a 4th floor room.
- Weekends are quite busy
I have always had very positive stays at Hampton Inns throughout the country until last night. The hotel had very little soundproofing and the cars whizzing by were loud. The bed was broken and one side was significantly lower than the other. We didn’t find out until we flushed the next morning that the toilet was backed up from the previous tenant. Yuck! All in all not the stay we usually enjoy.
I love this hotel, competitive pricing, clean rooms, create service, safe area, will recommend and will return in the future.
