Hampton Inn Cartersville - Hotel in Cartersville - 5600 GA-20, USA

Dont stay at this hotel if you want a good nights rest and prefer cleanliness. This is an old hotel that is in dire need of updates. The air in the room smells musty. Carpeting was dirty and stained. We will certainly bypass this hotel in the future. We are hilton members and are disappointed in the amenities. Staff at the front desk were friendly which was the only plus in our stay.

Meh. This is obviously an older hotel that has probably not always been a Hampton Inn. In general, Hampton Inns are not reliably consistent with what they used to be. One might be great, the next not so much. This one has a dated open "courtyard" design where the lounge and breakfast area are downstairs in the middle. All of the room doors are right above in a rectangle surrounding the lounge area. This makes for a very noisy environment in the mornings and at night when people are using the common area, as the rooms are not insulated well at all. Not much insulation between room floors either. Walking or children running down the hall is very noisy for anyone nearby or below. The beds and bedding were not comfortable. The bathroom needs updating and ours had a sagging shower rod that allowed water to spray out making a mess on the floor. There is one elevator that jerks and makes so much noise that we rode it once, then used the stairs to and from our second floor room after that. The hotel did seem clean, and staff was nice. Overall, not what we expect from a Hampton Inn though.

Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable enough. Room and common areas were clean. The drain in the bathroom sink was missing part of the collar and the main door to the room looked like someone had tried to break in - the woods was chipped around the edges and didn't seal very well. That said, my husband accidentally had booked us for the wrong night and, despite us not arriving until after midnight, they were still able to accommodate us, which we strongly appreciated!

Clean, friendly! Great breakfast. Conveniently located. Not a lot of parking but it is what it is. Quite happy. Would love an espresso machine downstairs.

Conveniently located close to Interstate 75. Comfy beds and updated bathrooms. All the staff was super friendly. The breakfast experience was top tier. I did need my own room fragrance spray. Overall my family and I enjoyed the stay.

Checked in, walked out. It was a dump, smelled, soiled, gross. Shame on Hilton!!! Don't you have standards that must be adhered to? We choose Hiltons because we don't like Motel 6 or Red Roof Inns!!! Recently, our experience with Hilton has been hit or miss! It's now after 11:00 pm and we are searching for a quality place to lay our heads. Signed - Tired, Disappointed, and Disgusted P.S. Don't trust the good reviews. I am highly skeptical of their accuracy!

Hamptons are usually nice, and this was fine until I opened the room door and smelled the funk. It was if the room had been closed up for an extended period of time. We left our wedding clothes in garment bags for fear they would take on the smell of the room.||

The Hotel is really in need of new Carpet. The weight room smelled like Dog urine and both running machines didn't work. Also, when I requested to the front desk that the room be refreshed on Saturday, upon return in the evening nothing was done. You can let the front desk person go who was working the desk on Sat at approx. 12:00 on 9 Sep 23. The Hotel was not up to any Hilton standard that I have used in the past. We won't stay here again.
