Hampton Inn Buffalo South/I-90 - Featured Reviews (746)
I usually leave a wonderful review. I am not able to today. We reserved the most expensive of the rooms, a two room suite. Room 502 is HORRIBLE. The ceilings have been compromised by water leaks. Maintenance had painted over the area but it is still very visible in the main living area, bedroom and bathroom. I am asthmatic and it acted up while in this room.
In addition, one would think that the supplies in the shower would be kept stocked and appropriate. They had placed HAND SOAP instead of body wash in the shower. Not only was it the wrong product, it was EMPTY.
Lastly, the basket of fruit for patrons had brown dried out clementines in it. The basket was overflowing so it was obvious that the person who stocked it just doesn't pay attention or care about putting our edible products.
A positive is that the staff member who checked us in was absolutely wonderful and the young lady at the desk in the am helped me get the appropriate body wash for the shower.
Check in/out was easy at the front desk. The elevators kind of jump as you get in and out. The pool is located next to the elevator and the fitness center is down the hallway on the first floor. Our room was clean and sufficient. Was greeted on the TV screen with a personalized welcome. I’ve stayed at different Hampton Inn’s and these beds by far were the most stiff/hard I’ve slept on; I’ve waken up with back pain during my stay. Breakfast is your usually Hampton inn buffet; the eggs were a bit watery and the ham/egg combo was wet and gross. Besides that, the buffet was always being tended to and re-filled; nothing was ever empty because the staff was really on top of everything. Would we return here? The location is 10min from Highmark Stadium and it was the reason why we chose this location. I would def stay at a different Hampton Inn if it were not for the Bills game.|||This is the hotel off I-90 in west Seneca, not to be confused with the Hampton inn by galleria mall that is also off the I-90.
For our first overnight stay, we selected an upgrade to a king room with soaking tub. Staff seemed to take their breaks in the lobby as there were mostly employees in this area. Our room was a beautiful and clean space with a nice couch. The breakfast was okay. Typical fare. Convenient to getting on highway. We slept comfortably. The cool feature was the sliding barn door that covered bathroom, then closet. Room was next to elevator which was convenient, but s little noisy as other guests came in late or left early talking loudly. Our second night was a weekend night and the hotel was packed with people including a large group partying in the lobby with young kids going up and down the elevator and in and out of the room across from us. We selected a basic room which was smaller, but fine, except for the noisy neighbors. The breakfast was even less interesting, as no oatmeal, but at least there was tea to fuel the rest of our journey.
The room and hotel were very clean. Nice bathroom, good amount of hot water, nice products in bathroom. Never got the climate control to work- thermostat in room kept showing "Err". mini fridge did not fit peoperly in the space-see pix. Good number of outlets and USB ports. Good lighting. The in room coffee is awful-Holiday Inn Express has Keurigs that do much better! For my taste, I found the bed and pillows too soft. Breakfast was fine-several choices. There was a problem with billing but it was finally resolved. Stayed here before on business and I think it is a good choice.
Welcomed when we arrived and treated well! Gabbi and the reception professionals were great! We were attending the Savannah Bananas game so there were others there as well. The breakfast was busy. There is a big line for waffles, so don’t get into that line if you don’t want waffles! Suggest if possible reconfigure the space so that Waffles are not a bottleneck to the otherwise good breakfast! We would return!
We are used to a higher quality of care at Hampton Inns. A full week stay gave the very pleasant staff more than enough time to fix the issues but it didn’t happen. 5 of our 7 days our beds were not made up despite a number of requests. Blaring entryway speakers beneath our room was corrected for us but after a semi sleepless 1st night. The mini frig let the baby’s milk spoil but they happily replaced it. We were told the pool was receiving maintenance, but it was not available all week. Definite disappointment. Overall a 2-3 out of 5.
Great location right off the interstate. Lots of food in the area. Our room was clean, though a little smaller than similar rooms elsewhere. The staff were helpful. And breakfast was... unremarkable. Good hotel for the price.
Positive: Everything about this hotel was excellent. Great breakfast selections, comfortable beds, clean room, good location and very friendly staff. Negative: ""
Overall we had a great stay. Our only complaint was waiting at the front desk upon checkin for about 15 minutes before someone came to the desk....no apology....and there was another couple waiting as well. Breakfast was really good. Lots of choic
Always has the best selections and is the cleanest grocery store around! We go for their fresh baked breads, and of course other things too...I highly recommend the Tuscon Garlic bread. (And get the bread dip from the cooler right next to the bakery
Toddler mama & we LOVE Feelings Rock music class at Sunshine Park with Ms. Jessica!!!!!!
Sunshine park playground- great for walking children and up (they have no swings)
One of the most unique and relaxing places in West Seneca. A great place walk the dog and a fun place to take a hike, meditate by the water or just lay in the sun. Recommend it to anybody who wants peace and tranquility!
So much fun for kids and adults! The people working there were so friendly and kind. Not too crowded. We loved that they played song requests and organized games.
We come here often, this entire park is very well maintained! Recently, they have repainted all of the benches and spring rider toys. There are a bunch of swings, a smaller playground for the littler ones, and then the big playground. There is a cove
Great place! Local food, local people along with an updated juke box, with oldies mixed in, for evey musical taste. Nice outdoor bar, with plenty of outdoor seating.
