Hampton Inn Buffalo-Airport/Galleria Mall - Hotel in Cheektowaga - 1745 Walden Ave, USA

We stay here every year while attending a football camp at nearby Highmark Stadium (15 min drive). The exterior is typical, and the hotel shares a driveway with Chik Fil A and McDs. Mall is practically across the street and there are many retailers and restaurants in the immediate area. The interior common areas of the hotel are nice and breakfast area is good (as are the daily offerings). The pool area is def one of the best we’ve experienced at a Hampton. It even has a large whirlpool, which is pretty uncommon these days, and the pool area doesn’t look dingy. It was always clean with towels available. Front desk staff was nice and helpful every time I interacted with them, and the housekeeping staff members were always working HARD! Beds are comfy. Pillows are flat, but I feel like every Hampton has flat pillows. Wish they would get Netflix accessibility. Grounds/landscaping was pristine. We will be back again!

After getting our flight cancelled, we decided to drive to Toronto. We stopped at this hotel and it didn’t disappoint. Across the street from the Galleria Mall, which has a Primark store. My wife loved it. Breakfast was good. Pool and gym were nice. Celebrities were in the house, I guess. Kids were getting autographs. If ever in the area, we will be back.

Passing through from a wedding weekend in Vermont! It was Labor Day at 10 pm. After a long 11 hour drive, we were exhausted. The 2 lovely ladies at the front desk greeted us with smiles and were VERY friendly. We called ahead but had a hard time hearing each other. But, no worries, they had EVERYTHING ready for us when we arrived. So so Greatful for them!! The room was clean, and the beds were so comfortable (2 queens). The shower was very nice with lots of water pressure. Full-size toiletries provided. The lighting in the bathroom was perfect for doing makeup. Towels were soft and fluffy. We found 3 sets of outlets in the room, which worked perfectly. (We did not use tv) The coffee was hot with 2 choices of creamer and very good. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, fried potatoes, and typical continental selections. 2 kinds of waffles were original and in keeping with the season, pumpkin spice. They were delicious, but we are not big breakfast people. We needed a good night sleep for the next days long drive. This was the perfect location, friendly staff, and comfortable room!! Thank you!!

Checked in here on a list minute stop over in Buffalo. Check-in was a breeze being a diamond member. The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was spacious and very clean. Bed and linen clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was good, the regular continental lineup with make your own waffles. Location was decent, right by the airport and a short trip to the Canadian border. I would stay here again.

A delayed flight coming back to Buffalo meant it was wiser to sleep where we landed. I've never been so glad to wake up in a hotel! Spotless rooms, great blackout curtains, wide bathrooms with fluffy towels. Breakfast from 6-10, but coffee and pieces of fruit available thereafter.

One of the poorer Hampton Inns we’ve visited. The room was nice and clean, as were the public areas. The fitness centre excelled. However, the shower was in a huge tub, so tall it was hard to get in and out of. The large shampoo dispenser in the tub was empty, tough to discover that at midnight, in the middle of a shower. when The faucet in the sink was loose, rotating to spill water on the counter as we turned the knob to turn water hot or cold. The fridge door’s shelving was broken off and there were no shelves. There was no microwave, a staple of Hampton inns. All pillows were foam, less giving than the feather pillows standard in Hampton inns. Instead of the usual hotel carts, there were luggage carts, less effective for parcels and boxes. The breakfast area was nice, the breakfast average.

Horrible experience with this Hampton Inn near Buffalo Airport/Galleria Mall. We were already tired after traveling by road for 7+ hours, checked in and got our rooms in the evening, and as soon as we walked in the room, the room had a very putrid scent. The room smelled like it was damp with less moisture and it felt like there was no air freshener system. We were already getting late and informed the front desk about the horrible smell. After the front desk came and apparently "fixed it" the smell still remained and it was very troublesome to endure throughout the stay. Then the next morning our family went to the lobby for breakfast, hoping to get it done quickly because we had to go attend a tour at Niagara Falls. But to our surprise, there was only ONE staff member serving breakfast?!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a really busy weekend, during the 4th of July and the whole lobby was full of people. We were all telling the staff member to refill the breakfast, but apparently she didn't want to listen. We went to inform the front desk about this problem, but she wasn't ready to listen and the onsite manager of Hampton Inn at this location showed us a lot of attitude, trying to defend her staff member while the other staff members of the hotel were just chilling and chatting with the receptionist. Definitely not a great representation of hospitality and good customer service at this location!! It took more than 30 minutes for the breakfast to get refilled, by the time we were already getting late to continue our day. Definitely would not recommend to visit this location for vacation/leisure- 0 stars if possible

When we arrived we were greeted with tons of information. So much in fact we forgot. It would have been nice to be given an informational guide at the counter. Or post that information on the room door. We were not told how to get to the pool so we had to wait in line at the counter to get directions. The pool was only open between 6 pm - 10 pm. That was a disappointment because we planned on using it as soon as we checked in at 3 pm. Also the spa was unavailable. We had to find another activity until our dinner reservation. The pool room was warm and they offered towels poolside with plenty of seating. It goes from 3 ft to 5 ft. Our room was very small with two queen size beds. The bathroom was a decent size with a barn sliding door. They offered lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in bottles attached to the wall. One bar soap and 2 makeup remover wipes on the counter. We were given several towels but one had a very long strand of hair on it. We went downstairs for breakfast the next morning. It was a nice selection of hot and cold items to choose from. It's served from 6 am to 10 am I believe. My coffee was pretty good until I got to the bottom and found coffee grounds. I wish we had time for the fitness center which is 24 hours but didn't have enough time. Outside of the small hiccups here and there it was an OK experience.
