Hampton Inn Auburn - Hotel in Auburn - 2430 S College St, USA

I flew into Detroit for business in Butler, Indiana. This hotel was close to where I needed to be so I booked there. Since I’m a Hilton Honors member I didn’t have to go to the front desk. I got a notification that my room was ready hours before I got there. The hotel seemed pretty empty and it was super quiet that night. Room was clean and seemed pretty updated. I didn’t get to check the whole hotel out but in passing everything looked pretty nice. If I’m ever in that area again I’ll definitely be staying here.

This is by the interstate. But the room I stayed in was quiet and I was by the pool. However decent location. Rooms were clean and loved that we could have access to the combined room. Pool was clean. Busy at night. Breakfast was not good. I ended up eating elsewhere. Coffee was weak. Staff was nice. 😊 you cannot really walk anywhere except to gas station next door, softball next door, and one restaurant. To get to campus about 15 minutes away.

Very clean and nice hotel. I have stayed at two comparable price hotels in the area recently and this one is best by far in all regards. Breakfast was good quality with many selections. Staff was very nice and helpful. Only negative thing I can say is that they had no decaf coffee at breakfast.

I stayed here for one night and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a Hilton hotel. The hotel was very clean and the room was very spacious. The standout of the experience was Sunshine, the breakfast host. She was extremely personable and made sure everything looked excellent and that every guest had whatever they needed. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

This hotel is engaged in price gouging and, considering their substandard service and cleanliness, I can’t blame them; get it while you can. Our room had blood stains on the wall, standing water behind the toilet, and an extremely dirty shower. The rude staff member working the counter refused to give us any sort of refund or change of room. Her attitude and general disdain for customers is only rivaled by the absent management who apparently gave her the ok to shaft a respectful couple who was only seeking the accommodations described by the hotel at check-in. I will say that Hilton Corporate was very apologetic and didn’t seem surprised about the service we received at this particular property.

Immediately off the exit from I85 North, plenty of parking, friendly check-in staff, very clean. Nice size, two queen room, plenty of hanging and flat storage space available. Surprising little noise from the interstate or hallway. Breakfast buffet was nicely varied with good hot and cold options. The Orange Juice even tastes like real juice!

Rooms are not up to Hilton standard. Paint peeling everywhere, vents not cleaned, no body wash in the shower, and a large dead bug in the bathroom light that you cannot miss. I've stayed at my fair share of Hampton Inns and this might be the worst yet. Service up front was good and main part of hotel looked refurbished.

Positive: Great location Negative: We had a toilet issue. Night Desk staff did not seemed concerned about not being able to flush theToilet and it took over a day to get the issue corrected.
