Hampton Inn Atmore - Hotel in Atmore - 45 Rivercane Blvd W, USA

I have stayed here many of times while passing through for work. This hotel seems to have a lot more activity (noise) than many others I have stayed in. For that reason I don’t think I’ll be staying here again. For those who don’t know I believe the reason for so much activity throughout the night at this hotel is due to a casino being within a 100 yards of the property. Hard to get a good nights rest, for me it is anyhow.

I'm handicapped with difficulty walking. Christopher was excellent in assisting me with getting ice, getting the luggage cart to my room, and helping me open my door when the card key wouldn't work for me upon my return to my room. He deserves corporate attention for knowing how to do an excellent job.

Positive: It was my 4th night staying in a hotel and this one felt much cleaner than the places I stayed the previous 3 nights . Reasonable rate comparable to what I payed at less nice places. Negative: Nope, it was a good value with good breakfast.

So far all is well very friendly accomodating staff room rate was very good especially being weekend.. The dining area is very spacious and nice and offers real complementary breakfast not just cereal or breakfast danishes. Room was very clean and bathroom stocked with everything one would need (though we brought out own) but shampoo conditioner lotion body wash everything stocked room was very clean and smelled good.. All in all definitely a good place especially if you're going to casino as it's literally a 5 min walk or quick ride if you wanna drive.

We have stayed at this hotel many times since Windcreek casino opened and have always had a very nice experience. We had helpful staff and clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast is always fantastic as well. The maid just found my mother's antique rosary beads and turned them in. If we could get her name it would be great.

Positive: The rooms are sweet it was decorated in like old timey stuff not very much liked it and the people is very nice the breakfast is super Negative: No everything was very nice it was a very nice day we were late checking out almost by an hour and they didn't say anything they just try to help us they're good people

Two stars does not reflect on the staff. They were great. ... The entry door to our room had a two inch gap under it and you couldn't sleep because stacking people side by side or across from each other. Way to much noise.I don't know why because only five vehicles were there and it's 4/5 levels. Breakfast was so old it literally ran right through us so we learned real fast to eat elsewhere. Rooms were almost 200$ and nothing special. The pool was so dirty I ended up going down there and cleaning it myself. Emptied the overflow trays etc... Horrible view because of construction. Obviously under bad management. Lesson learned!

We are seniors & have stayed at HI Atmore many times! When we returned home to review our credit card statement, we were charged 285.00 for one night. We understood the 75.00 per fee, but was shocked to see our 1 night rate. The GM lied when I called & stated Hilton sets the rates & there was nothing he could do about the rate. I called Hilton & they stated the individual hotel set the rates not corporate. I called back to the GM & told him what I discovered when speaking with corporate. His response was the owner was remodeling the hotel & was losing money so that was the reason for the higher charge. If you want to pay for this renovation do not go to Hampton Inn in Atmore, Alabama. Their customer service is awful & non-accommodating. Awful!!!!
