The bedding was clean, which was a plus. The floors were not. Our carpet was filthy - not only stained, but it appeared to have not been vacuumed before our visit. There was debris all over. We requested housekeeping after our first night, as there were only towels for two (in a double bed room, four guests.) Housekeeping never showed up during our four night visit. We requested it each day. The fridge and TV did not work our first two days. Maintenance finally came (and brought us two more towels) on the third day and just left a new fridge (leaving the nonworking one in the room as well.) |Breakfast was fine. Standard for a Hampton Inn. Pool appeared clean - we walked past it several times to get to our vehicle. Never swam.
Horrible stay. This place needs to be advertised as the dog kennel that it is. I swear I saw more dogs than people, which I wouldn't have cared about except about the constant barking, especially at night... So inconsiderate. The worst thing about the rooms themselves is the lack of bathtub... it was very difficult to shower my young children. The barn door for the bathroom was extremely difficult to open! I got stuck inside more than once and needed my husband to help me. The whole stay was overall very unpleasant. We will not be coming back. And we will be very careful about choosing Hamptons in the future. That was so not worth the price...
Positive: Clean room with a quiet ac/heater Negative: Limited parking in front of the hotel with most in back. That's OK if they would let your room key open the back door or even the side doors but after 10 you get the pleasure of the long walk from the back to the front of the hotel even if it's raining.
Our room was nice & clean. Service was on par. The breakfast wasn't bad. The workers from cooks, cleaners, and front desk looked like they were working hard. The location wasn't the greatest but it was super close to sunset Beach ✨️ 💛 👌
We booked a room for 4 people with a sofa bed. When we got in our room, the sofa bed wasn't made, we had to make ourselves and only one pillow. There were only 2 towels in the bathroom and only 2 drinking cups. We called and asked for another pillow and they said they didn't have any extra pillows. My husband had to go down and ask for more towels and they were not pleasant. Breakfast was ok, but not enough seating. We wouldn't stay here again.
My 2-night stay was pleasant and comfortable.

Whatever you do… don’t stay here. Booked a studio to have the pullout couch for my kid. They have serious design flaws in the rooms related to motion detection lights. The pull out bed is directly in the path of the motion detected light. Every time my son moved in his sleep, bright over head lights would come on! I called the front desk and they said there was nothing could do. I’m pretty sure this is a form of sleep torture. I don’t sleep at all and they offered my $30 off the room for having a sleepless night. Run to another hotel
Stay here regularly as my husband works per diem at the local hospital. The breakfast isn’t great. We didn’t mind but this trip we had ants crawling all over our room we all had bites as they were on the beds. I told the front desk person who said maintenance would come spray that day. However, after we arrived back to our room in the evening the ants were much worse and no spraying had been done.
After going back to the front desk for help the front desk person attempted to switch our room gave us a key and we packed up and went to move rooms only to find out we were given an occupied room! That was a shock. So we had to go to the store to buy ant spray after a $150 a night bill for a week. Horrible customer service. What has happened to the hotel industry?
