Hampton Inn & Suites Vicksburg - Hotel in Vicksburg - 3330 Clay St, USA

So, the location is great, and the staff are super nice. The rooms appear clean. However, my daughter said her bed was dirty. In the hotels defense, I did not do an inspection for myself on that. I did have someone from cleaning open the door at 8:30. Seems to me they should know if we checked out or not. The front desk also informed me this place is about to get a top to bottom renovation.

We have been to several hotels overtime because we love traveling. This is our first time in a Hampton inn we had issues. First, we booked a room and I specifically asked for pet free room and they gave us a room with pets. We knew immediately when we entered in the room that it wasn't pet free. Notified them and they changed our room (the front desk wasn't happy about the switch. You could tell by how they were acting). This time we were moved to a room next to maintenance. While we were moving our room, we came across a couple that said they were being moved to a different room too because their bathtub was filled with water when they entered the room. Anyways, we got to our room and everything was fine until we all got ready for bed to hear the water running by our pillow side ON all night long! Kept me up all night! At first, I wanted to call down and ask them about it, but we were all exhausted including our kids, and not wanting to deal with front desk attitudes, we stayed in the room. Water in the shower was very week too. We woke up to soar throats and found out there was mold in the room. For a hotel that charges $135 a night, this is unacceptable! People traveling are the ones who stay in hotels because they are tired of traveling and are hoping for a good night sleep. That's why we get hotels, and not being able to sleep because they couldn't care less speaks volumes! Breakfast is from 6-10. Even the breakfast didn't meet standards. So sad. Hope they would make changes for the best. I will give them credit for giving us a full refund when I was asked how our night was, I mentioned to them about our night. The morning staff was 100% better than the night staff.

Our room was nice. The staff was awesome, even giving us extra pillows. The breakfasts were delicious. Perfect location to visit the Battleground. BUT between the torn upholstry and disgusting shower I couldn't give them 5 stars

Older facility. Great location close to Vicksburg Memorial. Had a nice open house in the evening but the bartender wasn't very personable which is unfortunate when you are giving away drinks and trying to build customer goodwill. Front desk staff were very friendly however.

I have been staying at Hiltons for a long time, holding diamond status for many years. I travel for work and only stay at Hiltons. This one was really gross. The rooms are run-down, things falling apart, shower dripping non-stop, shades are all torn up. One of the beds had blood on the sheets, the room smelled like a cat liter box, there were bugs all over the room to name some issues. Went down for breakfest and the eggs looked more like soup than scrambled eggs. Overall, I would not suggest staying here.

Very clean and friendly hotel. Cocktails and snacks at 5. Called the room to make sure everything was in order. Good value for the money . Convenient to get to and places to eat nearby. Comfortable. Thanks

Shout out to Christina! She was so helpful with our stays on the 31st and the 6th! Such a sweetheart! Thank you, Christina! Liz has been wonderful all 4 of our stays this year. Doug was great when we checked in on the 31st. Marcie was great with our checkout on the 7th. The Hotel will be getting a much needed refresh very soon. The rooms are clean and there are plenty of pillows and bath linens. My only negative was Miss Paulette. She was working the breakfast station and totally ignored us when we said the waffle batter needed to be refilled. She never spoke or acknowledged us but that's ok, her loss! We can't wait to come back and visit with our Hampton Inn friends in Vicksburg, MS. Thanks for everything!

Got a cold reception after a late arrival that we notified the front desk of at 430pm the day of our check-in. The room was fine but a little aged. The breakfast was barren with cereal and milk being the only options. I'd try a different spot.
