The first Hampton inn in a week that has a clean bathroom. This place is immaculate. The staff is so accommodating. Our room is perfect. Reasonably priced. Definitely an A+

We came here to visit our daughter at Nicholls State University.|We had a large room with whirlpool tub and it was excellent.|The breakfast was good.|Most of all, the staff were the best, nothing was too much trouble. For example we asked for our boarding passes to be printed, no trouble. Extra milk for the room, no trouble, hot water for cups of tea, no trouble. All done with a smile and impeccable manners.|When we next visit our daughter we will 100% come here.|Thank you to all the staff.|The Harrisons .

We stayed for 3 nights/4days in room 420, a One-bedroom King Suite with whirlpool. We were delighted to see how enormous the rooms were because we were moving my son into college and we had 7 boxes, 3 suitcases, and 4 bags, all of which we were able to cart into the room comfortably and store it, with enough room to enjoy the ample living area and wet bar, which I’d guess was about 600+ sq feet. ||Also to our surprise was that it came with 1 full bath with separate shower and a half bath in the living room. This was a bonus! ||The only issue I had was the intense odor of urine emanating from both bathrooms. It was so strong it caused a gag reflex as soon as you entered the main door and then again when you walked into the bedroom. We shut both bathroom doors when not in use and that seemed to help. But when we would exit the hotel room and come back, that odor would hit you in the face and smell as if someone had sprayed urine all over both restrooms. Either there’s a plumbing issue or the tiles in the bathrooms need a deep scrub. Or maybe pets had soaked the carpets in urine? ||While I enjoyed the space, I was glad to leave. I’m sure it’s just specific to this room because that odor didn’t exist in the hallways or lobby. I would suggest management have housekeeping do a deep cleaning of both the half and full baths. It’s pretty revolting. I’ll stay here again because other than that, the room was great and you can’t beat the location or price. I just won’t ever stay in room 420 again.

Positive: The staff was great! From the helpful and friendly people at the front desk to the cleaning lady who had a maintenance man to unclog a drain (less than 5 minutes after we told her of the problem), everyone was cheerful and interested in whatever we needed Negative: The location is tricky. I don't know how many times we had to go past the hotel and make that U-turn over our 3-day stay. But that's not something that you can do much about.

Positive: Worst experience ever. There was nothing I liked about this hotel. Negative: There blood on the toilet seat upon arrival and it took over five hours for them to clean it after reporting to the front desk. Bed had such a bad dip in the middle that my husband and I kept rolling into each other. I will never stay there again.

I enjoy staying here. The people are always friendly and the breakfast is always top notch. If you are ever close by I highly recommend staying here. If you need peace and quiet stay on the 5TH floor. For breakfast grab the waffle and coffee. You'll thank me

We were traveling to an event at Nicholls State. This hotel was clean and conveniently located. The rooms were nice. Breakfast was good and ready first thing at 6 am. I never miss a chance to pick a Hampton Inn.
