Hampton Inn & Suites Tempe/Phoenix Airport - Hotel in Tempe - 1550 S 52nd St, USA

Had the typical American Airlines hotel voucher for our stay. The biggest issue here was while checking in the phone just wouldn't stop ringing with the very same question. Holding up check ins. The line was really long and Karen tried her best to keep it moving as fast as one person can do alone. The room was clean. The beds hard but the sheets soft and was thankful for a couple hours of rest until early a.m shuttle ride back to the Phoenix airport. Where does the shuttle pick up was the question of the night. The shuttle picks up at the COURTESY area NORTH 7 at the airport. When you leave the baggage area go outside and cross over crosswalk road to where pickups are. As crossing over look to you right and go down towards the end. You will see the courtesy pickup area. There is a bench in this area. Other hotel shuttles will also be here. Call and let them know you are ready. Phone number on voucher.

Excellent spot for a rest close to Airport! Staff is lovely and professional. Clean rooms and lobby. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommend. Have stayed here several times. (Restaurant close by for fresh, clean eating: Perfect Pear Restaurant). Thank you for another great stay!

We were placed into this hotel after a flight cancelation by the airline and I cannot say enough lovely things about the staff. Karen checked us in and was funny, light hearted and so friendly, which we greatly needed at almost midnight(after being jerked around by American Airlines). Thank you Karen and the rest of the staff! Our room was comfy, bed and linens lovely, great water pressure and the AC worked beautifully in the 100+ degree weather.

As a Hilton Diamond member, I stay at a lot of Hilton properties each year. I am compelled to share that, while on a trip with my wife and adult children, we had an absolutely exceptional experience at this Hampton Inn. The staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were well maintained, and the shuttle to the airport was less than a 10 minute ride. If you are looking for a hotel near the Phoenix airport, this is the first place you should look to book. Everyone, from the front desk staff to the shuttle driver, was extremely friendly and it was obvious that they made it a priority for their guests to have an incredible stay. Not sure when I might make it back to the Phoenix area, but I'll be sure to stay at this Hampton Inn again!

When booking hotels online you never know what you're going to get, sometimes the pics are deceiving. NOT the case with this location. The lobby is nice and open, looks newly remodeled, the rooms are very spacious and clean, my favorite part, the bed, comfortable and the sheets are super soft (I'm such a linens snob), bathroom was clean, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.

The good: The hotel was in a good location. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. The bad: The room isolation was terrible. I could hear every sound from the room next door. Unfortunately, I got some chatty neighbors that stayed awake the whole night. One morning, the floor and some tables around the pool were full of used cigarettes and boxes of beer, and nobody cleaned it up.

Very nice hotel! Front Desk Attendant was super friendly and helpful. Clean room, nicely appointed. Highly recommend this hotel when staying in Tempe AZ.

Used their park and fly option. ALL of my tools were stolen out of my truck toolbox while we were on vacation. The lot is not secure. Do not use this hotel to leave your vehicle. Lesson learned. Room was clean, couch had cat scratch marks on it, odd. Reception desk was unable, or unwilling to contact the manager about the theft. I never received a callback.
