Hampton Inn & Suites Temecula - Hotel in Temecula - 28190 Jefferson Ave, USA

I am officially checking out from this room today when I checked in yesterday evening for my birthday I was greeted by a friendly tall girl with dark hair and glasses very kind I want to say her name was Ivy I'm not sure however when I entered my room room 109 to be exact my room was not clean there was piles of hair in the shower it was dog hair in the refrigerator the floor wasn't clean the bed was nice I still have to wipe everything down and clean it I did call the front desk about 7:34 yesterday evening and I was waiting for over an hour for someone to come and clean the room they never showed up I walked up to the front desk and she apologized that the person I was supposed to clean the room got tied up however she did send a young African-American gentleman to my room I showed him all the hair all the dog hair he himself was very disgusted I have pictures and video proof he did tell me he reached out to the general manager yesterday however there was no response. But as I check out just now at 12:00 p.m. the front desk attendant refused to give me her name she's Spanish with long brown hair chubby face and she told me that the night time attendant gave me wrong information and that the rooms are not guaranteed to be cleaned and that it is Hilton policy for the rooms to be cleaned every other day and so I specifically asked her so basically I can walk into a room that's dirty and disease infested and that's absolutely unacceptable especially if it's my birthday but despite the fact it was my birthday nobody should walk into a room that's unclean and then you tell me that it's the policy of Hilton Hotel to not clean a room!!!!!????????

Rooms are recently renovated and look good. Lobby and hallways are currently being worked on. The service in this hotel is subpar. I noticed a few annoying things in our room such as a torn shower curtain and the drain was dirty. The little details need more attention. Overall an affordable quiet hotel that’s great for a one night.

First, this was our anniversary weekend getaway. On our way, the day I was supposed to check in (7/31), I called the hotel to inform, I was going to be late checking in. The front desk informs me that the whirlpool room I had made my reservation was not available due to “construction.“I asked her why the website allowed me to make the reservation if there was planned construction and she couldn’t answer. She changed our room to a standard . When requested 1st floor, she couldn’t accommodate and gave us on the 2nd floor. We arrive to the hotel. The hall carpet was unfinished and dirty looking. We settled in our room and to our surprise, there was no hot water, and no shampoo or conditioner in three dispenser. I informed the front desk in the morning. When we returned from the vineyards again, no hot water, shampoo or conditioner. I informed again the front desk the next morning expecting my room to be cleaned and it wasn’t. The front desk said service is every other day (due Friday) and it never happened nor the hot water improved or shampoo/conditioner filled. Our last day we decided to go to the pool. First, our room key didn’t work and once in three pool area, the pool was dirty. I was disappointed with the so many issues and also surprised this is a Hilton hotel with substandard delivery of services. We will never come back.

I stay at this hotel frequently for work and the staff at this Hampton are always so friendly and accommodating. Each time I stay here I get so excited to see the ravens nesting on the Hampton sign. They are the real diamond honors members and I’m so happy they get the VIP suite because they put a smile on my colleague and I’s faces every time we stay here.

It was my first stay at this property and in general my stay was good. The property is older but has undergone some improvements and remodeling. The breakfast was on basic side for a Hampton Inn. The seating at the center high top table is uncomfortable. The high top chair cushions are too soft and you sink down and sit too low. I had to move to a side table. The digital key did not work on the pool; neither did my room key. Went to the desk and was told the pool was available but the jacuzzi was not. Digital check out was not working. There is a huge birds nest on the Hampton Inn and Suites sign if you look up when entering the property.

Overall a very decent hotel. The only downside is the walls are pretty thin. We could hear the conversations in the rooms next to us and the walking of the people above us. Close to freeways and lots of shopping & restaurants nearby. The free morning hot breakfast was really good.

Beds were very uncomfortable, didn’t sleep well. Sign by check in said construction will be done on 6/10 and on 6/11 still a bunch of banging and loud noises. Honestly feels like I stayed at a motel 6. The employees dressed better than the hotel condition. Pet friendly is a plus though.

Hampton Inn is our go to hotel in the U.S. We know the rooms are really good and service is good. We note it seems costs are going up and so this is a concern. At the same time, we note that we aren’t getting anything more for our dollars especially in the free breakfast department, though I would say the waffles are excellent. The eggs are a bit runny. Would like to see free chocolate chip cookies in the evening and free lemonade. Easy to park at the hotel and walk into the hotel.
