Hampton Inn & Suites Stuart-North - Hotel in Stuart - 1150 NW Federal Hwy, USA

Terrible customer service from Moses on 9/6/24. Called several times at about 9:30 pm and phone rang and rang. Asked about rates and availability for upcoming stay and was informed Hampton in Stuart no longer makes reservations. The only way to get rate or check availability is to call central reservations. Hampton inn Port St. Lucie was happy to make a reservation for me.

We stayed one night while visiting some family. The location is great, right on US1 and close to restaurants and other businesses and a short drive to the beach. The staff was friendly while checking in. The lobby was nice and clean. Our room was on the 2nd floor and when getting off the elevator there was definitely a musty kind of smell in the hallway. I'm not sure what exactly it was, but it wasn't the most pleasant smell. The smell combined with random bits of peeling wallpaper gave the place and dingy appearance. When we got to our room we noticed it was really warm inside and also had a musty smell. It seemed very humid in there. The A/C was set to 78. We turned it down pretty low and left to go visit family. When we got back the room was nice and cool and the smell wasn't as bad, but it was still there. The room was nice and clean. We didn't see any issues really other than the smell. The beds were comfortable and I didn't really notice and road noise or nosy neighbors. Breakfast in the morning was OK. There were eggs, biscuits, gravy, and a few other items, nothing fancy but not bad. Overall it was an ok stay. The smell in the hallway and in the room were really the only off putting thing I noticed. If that wasn't a problem I would have given the place 5 stars. Hopefully this will get fixed.

We got in early and our prechecked room was not ready. John at the desk suggested another room which was available. He followed up by reaching out to us after we checked in to see if it was acceptable. Our room was great, very clean. John was very professional and exceeded our expectations.

Clean rooms comfortable beds . Nice ac. ||Cons. Next room could hear a guy pretty clearly talking on the phone through the walls|Breakfast was pretty bad for someone who doesn’t eat carbs. Sausages were weird like sawdust. No way real meat. Eggs were poured and cold. I appreciate the price but for including breakfast I’d just as soon like a reduced rate

Moses at the front desk was amazing! He was incredibly accommodating and made our stay great. We really appreciated how kind he was. The hotel was also in a great area right near the heart of Stuart so it was very enjoyable and about 10 minutes from a ton of restaurants and water!

I stayed for 1 night on Monday, April 29th, and I was by myself. This was night 3 of a 4 night drive, and I brought a suitcase into each hotel, which included my Kindle. ||I fell asleep each night reading, leaving my Kindle somewhere on my bed. Unfortunately on this night, it must’ve gotten buried in the covers, and I left it in the room upon checkout. I didn’t notice until I checked into my room that day in Miami. ||Needless to say I called the hotel several times to inquire and spoke to polite staff each time. My kindle was never found. They checked with housekeeping who said they didn’t see it. ||Clearly it was completely my fault. I understand that. I was careless with it. But it didn’t leave that room all by itself and the hotel did not indicate that another guest was put in the same room after me. ||Hmmm.

This has always been my go to in Stuart. It had gotten very run down and was recently renovated. Probably because a new Marriott property was just built next door. I wish the beds were better especially since they were all just replaced.
