Hampton Inn & Suites Stephenville - Hotel in Stephenville - 910 S Harbin Dr, USA

This hotel has your basic lodging needs. The rooms are decent and seem newly renovated/refreshed. The AC was ok but not too cold the first night. I adjusted the settings and had the fan continuously running and I slept better the second night. The hotel is conveniently located near and HEB, gym, and retail stores. If you’re looking for a decent place to stay while in town, this is it. Breakfast starts at 6:00 and the gym is just a cardio room.

Positive: The breakfast was delicious. And the California king bed is comfortable. Inside pool and spa is dope had a good time. Negative: I still had to pay money to check in. But the accommodations for me to check in earlier was a relief so I'm hot complaining just wish I would have known prior too purchase. And could have had more breakfast options

In my 52 years of life, I have stayed at numerous hotels, but the hospitality and friendly service at the Hampton Inn during our recent stay surpassed all my previous experiences. Mark, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. He provided valuable recommendations for dining and local attractions. When our room wasn't ready upon arrival, Mark treated my family to freshly baked cookies and a hospitality bag while personally checking the room's condition before granting us access. His level of care and attention to detail exceeded my expectations and restored my faith in people. Mark's exceptional customer service and warm demeanor deserve recognition. Thank you, Mark, for creating an unforgettable experience for us in Stephenville! In addition to Mark's exceptional service, the overall experience at the Hampton Inn was truly outstanding. The hotel itself was immaculate, with beautifully appointed rooms and common areas. Stayed here on Father's Day. We were to meet some friends for dinner at a restaurant that closed at 8:00 PM. After a long day of driving, my wife and I both needed to take a shower. I got in first, but much to my surprise, there was no hot water. I stood in the shower for approximately 10 minutes, but still no hot water. My wife called down to the front desk and the clerk told my wife it would take 15 minutes on that side of the building. After 19 minutes, some hot water surfaced. I took a quick shower, left the shower running, and my wife took a quick shower. We were horrified after living in a drought stricken Texas county where our severe drought is approaching 3 years to leave the shower running for this long and wasting water. We canceled our dinner plans, and Father's Day dinner was a few snacks. The same situation happened the next morning after I woke at 0600 hours. Had to leave the sink running for over 20 minutes to get hot water to shave and the shower running 17 minutes so we could take showers. When we checked out, I spoke with Mark at the front desk. He was empathetic and told me the general manager would contact me soon. On Tuesday, I called Hilton with my concerns, and they told me I could not obtain a refund from them because I had prepaid, and the general manager would contact me. Hilton also spoke with Mark while I was put on hold. It is Thursday night, and I am still waiting for the general manager to call me. I did some online research and found a one star online Google review from 5 months ago complaining about the same room 206 with no hot water, and they would look into the matter. I also checked other review sites and found no hot water complaints going back 2 and a half years!! If you like cold showers or no showers, this is the place for you. This property is a train wreck at best and a bad stain on the Hilton name. I want a refund Mr. or Ms. general manager.

I stayed at this property in May 2024 while attending my niece's graduation at Tarleton State University. Of course, the rates were highly inflated as a result of this being a graduation weekend. I booked a King Bed Studio suite with Whirlpool 6 months in advance for $570 for 2 nights. A few days before I arrived I received an email from Hilton to check-in and select a room. I did so an selected room 327. When I arrived, I was assigned room 105, a regular King room. Not a suite and no Whirlpool. I wwnt back to the front desk and after several minutes of them asking me to verify my original reservation, etc., they decided they screwed up and assigned me room 302. That room was a suite but still no Whirlpool. I was busy and had no time for further arguing. So congrats Hampton Inn, you screwed me over as I just paid the premium rate for a lesser room. In general, I have nothing but problems with every Hilton property I stay at, which is why I as a Marriott premium member I usually stay at their properties where I never have issues. The only bright side is that the desk agent Mark is very nice but ultimately he was of no help. ||Furthermore, this property needs to spend some time and money on landscaping. Overgrown weeds, etc. The place looks like a dump from the outside!||Breakfast was less than up to typical Hilton standards. I arrived an hour before it ended and they were out of just about everything. No attendant in sight so that was disappointing.

I've never had hotel staff treat me with such disrespect. I had been coming to this hotel for years, and I will never stay here again. They lied about the check in process and when I got upset because of the cost and started crying they kicked me out. I came to town for a family emergency and they made me feel like I was a bug on the windshield of their lives. *Rosalinda* is the worst GM of any hotel I've ever been to. I had to talk to corporate while bawling my eyes out because the stress for this caused me to have a panic attack. I will never stay here again. This was me giving them a second chance after the last time the whole building smelled of mildew and mold; save your money and go to LaQuinta.

Far below Hilton standards. This property is far overdue for a complete renovation. Outside is unkept with weeds and tall grass in landscaping. Hallways smell of mildew. Rooms are worn and not cleaned well. Overall poorly maintained. Only positive is the friendly front desk staff.

We arrived late but the staff was friendly and very helpful. The bedroom itself was OK, did have a pull out bed for the kids. We had a very pleasant night rest, and a nice breakfast. Thank you for a little out of town escape. The only thing we would have loved was that the pool was working.
