Speedy and super friendly checkin. We booked a king room which happened to be an adapted room with wider doors, a fold down seat in the bath and bars. It was nicely decorated, clean and spacious. There was a fridge, air con, coffee maker and microwave. ||The bed was really comfy with nice linen. The pillows were a bit hit and miss. Nice bathroom but lacked main toiletries (no shampoo, conditioner, just shower gel). There was a small body lotion and mouth wash. There was a sign however advising you could request anything you needed. ||We used the pool which was very clean and refreshing, it was a really hot day. Plenty of sun loungers, umbrellas and tables to use. Free pol|Towels too. ||Breakfast was really plentiful with a selection of hot and cold breakfast items, including waffle makers. Good selection of coffees, juice, usual continental breakfast items. ||There is nothing local to this hotel (ie walking distance) just a petrol station that did great fresh pizza. ||All in all a good, clean hotel, which was also good value all round.
I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Seneca, SC, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a disorganized front desk staff who seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful. The check-in process took longer than expected, and I felt like my concerns were brushed aside.
The room itself was disappointing. While it looked clean at first glance, I soon noticed several issues. The bathroom had mold around the edges of the tub, and the air conditioning unit was incredibly noisy, making it difficult to sleep. Additionally, the bed was uncomfortably firm, which led to restless nights.
The breakfast offerings were lackluster as well. The selection was limited, and the quality was subpar. The eggs tasted artificial, and the coffee was weak and flavorless. It was frustrating to start the day with such a disappointing meal.
To make matters worse, I encountered issues with the Wi-Fi. It was slow and frequently disconnected, which made it challenging to get any work done during my stay. When I brought this up to the staff, they seemed indifferent and offered no solutions.
Overall, my experience at the Hampton Inn in Seneca, SC, was underwhelming, and I would not recommend this hotel to others. I expected more from a brand known for its hospitality and comfort. I hope they can address these issues to enhance future guests' experiences.
I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Hampton Inn in Seneca, SC, and it was a truly disappointing experience from start to finish. The front desk staff, while present, were completely unhelpful and seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than assisting guests. When I finally got to check in, I was greeted with a lack of professionalism that set the tone for the entire stay.
The room was a nightmare. It was supposed to be a “clean and comfortable” environment, but I found mold in the bathroom and stains on the bedding. The air conditioning unit sounded like a freight train, making it impossible to get any rest. I expected better from a reputable chain, but it felt more like a rundown motel.
Breakfast was another low point. The options were pathetic, with rubbery eggs and stale pastries that tasted worse than cardboard. When I brought this up to the manager, Karen, she simply shrugged it off, offering no solutions or apologies. It was clear she didn’t care about guest satisfaction.
To top it all off, the Wi-Fi was abysmal. It was slow and kept disconnecting, leaving me frustrated and unable to work. I mentioned this to the staff, but they were dismissive and provided no assistance whatsoever.
Honestly, my stay at the Hampton Inn in Seneca was an exercise in frustration. With a manager like Karen at the helm, it’s no wonder the service was so lacking. I would strongly advise others to steer clear of this hotel until they can get their act together. Save your money and find a place that actually values its guests.
Always wonderful to stay at Hampton Inn. Very clean, large room with fresh sheets and pillows.
One thing, they gave me the Hilton Honors rate but didn't get to Hilton to give me my points. Make sure you tell them to while you are there else they say they can't do it after you leave. Deducted one star for that.
Positive: The hotel is clean and has a good continental breakfast. Negative: There were people up and talking until early morning hours, which I assume is a consequence of being near a college town and students enrolling or returning to campus. The pillows are the most uncomfortable.
Stayed 4/4 thru 4/8.
Room was clean, bathroom floor was okay...(not clean under bathroom sink where wall/floor meet).
Breakfast area was great, as was a wonderful woman named "LEE". She worked in the kitchen area and was outstanding helping guests, going above and beyond in my opinion, helping some demanding (uppity) guests. Her demeanor never changed, she stayed very pleasant. Good variety of food choices.
We put our "Relaxing"sign on our door handle when we left. Nothing was touched in our room while we were visiting/sight seeing,
Had little contact w front desk, can't judge.
Would stay again. :)
The room was nice but had to be moved to a different room and floor because of the smell of dope. We told the front desk about it. They didn't call the law or do anything about it, they just moved us. Our home had an electric fire and we had to stay there because we couldn't afford to move hotels. I do NOT recommend anyone staying at this hotel. Obviously they don't care about the drug problems there.
Bathrooms are unimaginable filthy!!!!! Bed sheets have blood stains on them!!!! The staff are very rude and seem to care less what the rooms look like or how the guest feel about the filthy rooms!!! I would NOT recommend staying here!!!!!!!

I was here at Clemson for 4 days on business. This place was great. I would enjoy staying longer. My room (standard?) had a nice and well equipped kitchen. Place was conveniently located near an Aldi where I could have purchased food to cook instead
