Hampton Inn & Suites San Francisco-Burlingame-Airport South - Hotel in Burlingame - 1755 Old Bayshore Hwy, USA

We stayed at the hotel fro the last 3 yrs during our visits to the Bay Area. |This hotel was always our favorite until the parking went from free to $30 a day! Parking rate is higher than most hotels in the area. Room and breakfast is good. Room is clean and breakfast is hot.

We stayed at this hotel twice within the same week. Our first stay experience was not great, but we couldn't change our hotel for our stay later during the same week because we had prepaid, and it the rates were non-refundable. The rooms were ok, the bathroom sliding door was not closing properly. There is no maintenance staff in the night, so if you have an emergency you will have to put up with it until the next morning. The breakfast was nothing to rave about. The bananas were mushy and old, they ran out of milk and yogurt quickly. The kitchen manager couldn't even tell us if the bagels had egg in them. She sent us to the front desk person Marie who tried to blame us saying we should have checked in advance. Little did she know that we had already done so over the phone and were told to check with the hotel staff upon check in.|Definitely not a place where I would want to stay again.

Good location. Staff member not very welcoming on arrival (compared to same brand in Sunnyvale the night before). Parking expensive at $30/night self parking. Ignore older reviews saying it's free.

Rooms are spacious and very clean. Cute check in space with a breakfast area. I had a view of the parking lot, not that I expected more, but it was the only thing that left me wanting more.

Upon arrival at check in I requested a room in a quiet area because my husband was sick. |Mary said our room was ready, if we had special request we had to wait till the room was cleaned at 4:30 pm? Took 1-1/2hrs. This woman is rude.|Never stay here.

Horrible shuttle experience. Waited an hour past the time that was given to us and they told us to get an uber or walk to a different hotel for a shuttle. We walked and as soon as we got there, the shuttle arrive. Not on schedule. Good thing we allowed for plenty of time or else we would have missed our flights. Room was old but fine.

Hampton is our go-to hotel. We rented Friday night. The room was clean. The front desk agent was friendly. We were only there for less than 30 minutes. We had to go through the snow from Tahoe to get to Sfo. We didn't get breakfast bags to go. It was like 5am. The front desk did offer us chips and other food to go. We prefer breakfast to go since we have an early flight. I still would come back next time, but I am hoping we can take advantage of the free breakfast deals. We are HH-D members

Very close hotel to SFO. We had a flight that was delayed and missed the last shuttle in the morning. Apparently the shuttle doesn't run all day!! We had to watch an Uber to the airport. I booked hotel for shuttle service and couldn't even use it! Front desk didn't seem to really care or try to offer us anything for the inconvenience. Hotel is older and sheets weren't very clean. Shower was cold with no pressure. Also, the final bill amount was more than what I payed at booking.
