This Hampton is wonderful. Extremely clean, updated and employees were wonderful. Check in was a breeze. We stayed on first floor and our suite was BIG! Plenty of room, coffee, tea and hot chocolate was served 24/7. Breakfast was great! Plenty to eat. I highly recommend this hotel.

I booked two rooms for weekend stay. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds but pillows are bit uncomfortable. Breakfast has very limited choices like average Hampton inn. No safe in the room. Entire staff were very friendly and helpful. There was wedding when I checked in but didn’t affect my stay other than I had to park in the back. 24x7 tea coffee and some kind of snack available. Pool is very small and deepest end is 5 ft plus makes this pool useless for most people especially non swimmers as shallow end is 3ft but quickly deepens as pool is small. Overall I’ll return to this hotel and recommend anyone who is looking to stay in the area.

Family and dog friendly hotel near the Montreal border. Rooms are very spacious and has room for a play yard for the baby. We brought our own so if you need one, you will need to call and ask if they provide a crib/cot. The only downside to the room is that the sink area is out in the open in the room especially with the outlet plugs. If you have a baby that needs to be put to sleep earlier, you’ll need to plan on when to wash your hair to use the blowdryer without waking your baby. Washrooms probably need a reno but it’s pretty standard for a no frills hotel. The room also has a kitchenette with a microwave if you want to reheat anything. The work desk is pretty spacious and TV has cable. Dog relief area in the back with doggy bags. Plenty of free parking on site. Daily continental breakfast is pretty standard. You’ll get sausages/potatoes/omelette. There’s cut fruit, oatmeal and coffee/orange juice.

We had a great stay for the eclipse! Not only was the location perfect for this event, but the hotel and staff added little eclipse related touches for guests that were so fun. Our room was originally booked to bring our dog (who ended up staying home), so the only thing to note was that the room did have a bit of a funky smell I assumed was because of a previous pup in the room. It didn't bother us much, but a more sensitive person might feel differently. I'd absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!

Our stay at Hampton Inn, Plattsburgh has always been very pleasant. We are regular customers. Hotel is well located, close to everything but in a quiet environment. The cleanliness of the rooms is excellent as well as other facilities such as breakfast place or the lobby with its fresh coffee. However, the greatest quality of the hotel is its staff: Diane at the restaurant keeps the place very clean and the food is quality, appetizing and fresh. The staff at the front desk are very nice and professional, like Chris and Karen, but we want to emphasize excellent customer service and high professionalism on the part of Jennifer B. When we talk about CSI, Jennifer B. deserves a 10/10 rating.

I absolutely loved my stay and will be back! Checkin: Dave was very nice Breakfast with Bonnie and Diana: so polite and nice. Great customer service. The kids loved it! All staff we met was so nice and welcoming Karen from front greated us from front desk in the morning. Room service in the hallway was helpful and nice Room was a king suite. Beautiful, comfortable and clean Checkout was fast and smooth. Unfortunately i cannot recall the name Overall experience… 5 stars. Do not hesitate to book

I am so glad we picked this hotel. We came up from NJ for the eclipse. The hotel was centrally located and really convenient which is why I initially picked it. The room itself was incredibly clean. I always check under the mattresses and in corners for bugs because I'm paranoid, and usually hotels are kind of dirty in less seen spots, but everything in the room was spotless (and obviously bug-free). Beds were super comfy. The hotel had breakfast which was nice (my mom would just like to recommend an omelet option with no cheese though.. both options had cheese). The staff were super helpful with restaurant recs, ideas on where to see the eclipse, and just super friendly in general. And they had this eclipse goody bag in the room when we got in. The area upstate is gorgeous, so we definitely want to return, and it would definitely be to this hotel. (Photo is of the bag they put together for guests.)

Karen at the front desk is absolutely wonderful. She is so pleasant and welcoming. Also checked with us to make sure our room was to our satisfaction. Offered cookies. The hotel is very clean and well kept. Had extra pillows which is so helpful for sleeping. |Only thing I would change is the shampoo/body wash containers. I always worry that someone could potentially put something not good in them. Please go back to the individual products
