Hampton Inn & Suites Pensacola I-10 North at University Town Plaza - Hotel in Pensacola - 7050 Plantation Rd, USA

Excellent hotel. I checked in after midnight and there was a phone just outside the locked entrance so somebody could buzz me in. No problem at all with that late-night security measure. The room was super clean, the bed very comfortable -- they give you four fluffy pillows on a king, which is great. And the breakfast? Yes, the usual bacon strips, omelet concoction and fried potatoes. But they also had...COOKED GRITS! Granted they were Quaker, but a place that has decent cooked grits is a winner in my book. (Add biscuit and gravy and you'd be a five-star hotel.) The coffee was hot and good. The surrounding area seemed safe and secure. Would definitely stay here again.

During the middle of my 2 week stay here for work I got sick with Covid. The girls at the front desk have been so kind and helpful to me through this by bringing me a generous breakfast from their buffet and beverages otherwise as I’ve requested them. I greatly appreciate their hospitality and kind support during my stay.

Tricky to find, service checking in was great. Checking out was not great in that I felt I was interrupting the attendent's personal time. Breakfast was offered, pet friendly but no loud moises or odd smells. Bathroom cleanliness was marginal the ocassional stray hair.

Excellent customer service, amazingly clean rooms, so conveniently located right off I-10 easy access for larger loads on/off the freeway, great free breakfast & coffee. I cannot express how happy I am with our stay and I will always stay here when I come through from now on. A+

At check-in, the experience could have been more welcoming. There was no greeting, no "I will be with you shortly." The room and bathroom were clean and there were no lingering odors. The carpet was worn and looked like it had seen better days; however, it was free of debris. The a/c worked well. The stars at this hotel were the breakfast staff.They were extremely pleasant and worked very hard to keep the buffet stocked and tables clean. Plus, if something wasn't easily visible, they were quick to help. There were many restaurants and stores nearby, in case you needed something. We would stay here again. Checkout was quick.

So I love Hampton Inns across the country. I do long-haul hot-shot trucking and Hampton Inns are always my choice hotel and this one didn't fall short of the amenities. I would happily have given this place 5 stars across the board however there is one thing I wasn't to happy about. In the exercise room there was 2 treadmills which one wasn't working. Instead of doing the repair on it, I would much prefer a work-out bench to sit on to do curls and presses with the free weights. Beds were comfy. Had a great night of sleep, tub was clean, plenty of closet space and dresser space if you were to have an extended stay. Pool was clean with plenty of towels. Room was very clean and accommodating. Staff was friendly; all in all great motel, minus a place to actually utilize the weights. Fitness room had an Olympical, 2 treadmills, and 2 bikes, However as I stated above. Switch out that 1 tread and loose 1 of the bikes for bench, some more room to workout and it would be perfect.

All good...breakfast was quite nice. Good selection. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Haven't been disappointed by Hampton Inn no matter where are.

Hilton is always my choice. This hotel, however, was disappointing. There were old French fries on the floor of my room upon entry and later there was a roach in the wall that we couldn’t kill…that was found in the bed later. I had trouble getting into another room, to the point I had to contact Hilton customer service. The new room was clean though and we never saw a bug in it. The remainder of the stay was pleasant and the breakfast was the best complimentary breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. Hot and lots of options. I was just unhappy with the initial issues and the attitude when the issues were reported. “It’s just one little bug”. At $166 a night that should not happen. This was a Hilton!
