Hampton Inn & Suites Norman Conference Center Area - Hotel in Norman - 2300 Conference Dr, USA

June 27th, 2024. Worst night of sleep ever. I typically stay at Hampton Inn as I travel a great deal. The room was nice, but the bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood. The mattress was thin and bedding wasn't as padded. To be honest, I really didn't sleep. My husband was only able to sleep a few hours. Staff was welcoming and polite.

The greeting on the tv is a nice touch. The bed is super hard. The room is clean. Staff is friendly. pool is clean. Smoking area. The sofa bed was softer than the bed. The bathroom is clean. House keeping didnt replenish my towels. First time I ever felt I could walk barefooted. Their breakfast is awesome!!! Fresh eggs fresh batter for Belgium waffles 1 or 4 minis, your choice. Nice variety of beverages.

I've stayed here 2-3 days a week for the last several months on business. Staff is amazing (bar one). Facility is clean. Breakfast is good. Unfortunately, the beds are terrible. They squeak... such an easy fix but they don't. But hey, happens. The problem is they're so uncomfortable you wake up with aches and pains. Every single day you're sore and aching. Still not enough for me to live a 1 star, right? Disgustingly, this hotel is not disability friendly. Had a power outage and the alarm went off. I walked the five flights down stairs... to find out they're elevator isn't on the generator so they can't power the elevator. Power will hopefully come back on. I understand they can't control power. But how do you not have accommodations for disabled persons while saying you accommodate disabilities on a sign in your lobby! Fire hazards, I understand not using the elevators. This wasn't the case. Also no emergency lighting outside either. Do you know what they do give power to? Their computers. Their snack fridge/freezer area. The staff member got rude with me and other guests when we expressed dismay with the lack of adequate accommodations. Made pithy remarks about talking to managers about refunds that no one even asked for. All we wanted was a means of getting to our rooks to sleep.

Had to update my review to 1 star as the staff is awful if you have a concern. The manager told us that we don’t work for him so he will believe his staff and not guests so the happiness guarantee does not apply if you have a concern. Do not stay here- not sure if they ever change the sheets, They only “clean” your room every other day- why would they do that??? - I just had to throw my own trash and live with dirty towels on the floor. I should have known better but I dont think there is a Hyatt near here! Bed squeaks/ could have added another chair/table- not a comfortable layout/ terrible linens.

A really great stay! I highly recommend. The breakfast stays open until 10am which is nice so you don't have to feel rushed. The rooms are very clean and you can tell that the employees seem to care which says a lot nowadays.

I accidentally left my my iPhone in the hotel. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ship/return it the next day. Regardless of the great customer service, the hotel was clean, pleasant and a good location.I will stay here in the future.

Beware! This hotel is as very clean and in great condition. However, we were very disappointed with our stay due to our vehicle being broken into. Several other vehicles in the parking lot were broken into as well. We parked in a well-lit area of the parking lot and upon returning to our vehicle in the morning, discovered the backseat window shattered and broken. When filing a police report, we were also disappointed to find out that there were no security cameras on the exterior of the building. While I understand that crime happens everywhere, having security cameras may serve as a deterrent to these types of crimes and help guests feel secure when staying.

I had ants in my bed. Then my daughter’s bed was very messed up. Every time she moved, even a little bit, it made very loud noises like metal rubbing against metal. They HAD to know about this. Why would they put anyone in this room? It was the worst nights sleep I have had in years. |I mentioned it when I checked out, and they could not have cared less. |I am losing my faith in Hilton properties.
