Hampton Inn and Suites Munster - Hotel in Munster - 8936 Calumet Ave, USA

I love this hotel. Whenever I want a getaway with my nieces and nephews to swim and relax, I always bring them here. The hotel staff are always pleasant and very helpful. This is a wonderful location because it's near many restaurants we enjoy. The hotel is kid-friendly, and every time the kids ask about a hotel, this is the one they choose. Keep up the great work, because we'll always come back.

The hotel is okay; but not worth the cost. The person at the front desk was very sweet and helpful. Our room had a bad smell when we walked in; smelled of smoke—even though it was a non-smoking room. The bed and pillows were pretty much awful - they were old and in desperate need of being trashed. Breakfast was pathetic. They sure did cut back on that. Left there totally hungry. Bottom line - room needs a refresh, particularly the bed and pillows and “free” breakfast is not good. But yet, the price per night is not reflective of the diminished services! Not staying here again!

Stayed here last night with my kids, the room was clean and the staff was friendly, the pool and hot tub were pretty decent. $200 room was a bit ridiculous considering it's not Chicago. Breakfast was your average eggs, sausage and potatoes. I will say their coffee was good for a hotel. We will be back. Hopefully rates drop next time.

Bathrooms a are full of mold.||3) the hotel staff are crooks... be careful... ||||They agreed to check us out of the hotel early and they charged us the full night. Be careful. They are crooks and liars. The food is horrible. Coffee is always cold.

I was not happy with my experience at all. But because they only had two rooms left I knew nothing would have been done about my visit. The first think I do when I check in is immediately check for bedbugs and although I didn’t find any, which is great I found other disturbing things. There were candy wrappers on the box mattress. There was hair on the second mattress sheet. A huge clump of hair in between the closet doors and the shower filled up with water while you were in it. We are renovating our home we usually didn’t get in until late around 9pm and by that time we were dead tired and too tired to go and complain. So hopefully the pictures can describe what we witnessed while staying at this hotel. Wouldn’t recommend. The staff only changes the sheets. They don’t vacuum or wipe anything down which is very disgusting. I don’t even know what else to say. And then when we needed to stay one more night they were fully booked. I will never stay here again or recommend this place ever.

Great location to our event clean hotel nice staff. Need more breakfast options. Everything was perfect way beyond our expectations will stay here again for our future needs. Beds were comfortable and liked we had a refrigerator and microwave in the troom.

We stayed in one of the handicap rooms on the first floor and if I had my way, every hotel we stay at would copy this bathroom. Very comfortable, very accommodating, very clean. The room and hotel was very clean. The location is excellent and it was very easy to get to. The breakfast was excellent. My only objection was the bed, it is in need of replacement for as when we got in we "fell" towards the middle.

It was an awful experience. 1) waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the checkin desk despite calling out. 2) Despite being gold status and paying full price for the room got the room across from the elevator, right over the front door to the hotel ( which you could hear open and close the whole time) 3) there was a piece.of used toilet paper in the toilet when I lifted the lid 4) there some very suspect stains.on the carpet which were right by the desk 5) there was no water in the water cooler at the gym. Sad experience.
