Hampton Inn & Suites Modesto-Salida - Featured Reviews (552)
I don't think this hotel is of the quality that it is charging to be. The bed was very comfortable, but beyond that, it easily could pass as a Best Western Hotel. The $75. pet fee was double what I've ever paid anywhere else. Luckily, my dog also loved the bed. I don't think I would ever choose this hotel again with all the other options that are within 3 miles
Absolutely a restful stay. Beds were fantastic. Breakfast was one of the best we have had at a hotel. The rooms and hotel was very clean. We would recommend this hotel to any of our friend and family.
The hotel stinks as soon as you walk in the door. The hallways and my room all had the same smell. My biggest problem is payment. I used the app, and as soon as you check in and choose your room, they hit my card for the total cost. $272.00 for 2 nights. When I got to the hotel, they charged me another $550. I tried to explain it but they said it was a $250 incidental, which they didn't even tell me until they charged my card. Save your time and stay elsewhere I was also insulted by saying digital key doors not work for me because I am just a Silver member.
While I was very impressed by some things, I was not impressed by others. First, the positives: the staff. I had called the hotel directly to find our some information and the woman who answered the phone was superb! I had questions regarding a place where we were going to go and she checked the internet (directions to a place we were unfamiliar with). She was the one who checked us into the hotel and recommended a place to eat when asked. We were also upgraded to a studio suite, which was a nice gesture. The breakfast was also very nice. There were the usual kind of things and I really liked how they had coffee, water, apples and oranges available 24/7.|The negatives: The room was nice enough, however, on one side of the bed, there was about 6 inches between the bed and sofa...and the sofa wasn't movable! Apparently, it was bolted to the floor?! I was surprised by this, but since it was only for one night, I decided not to complain. Another thing I did not like was the door to the bathroom closed automatically. That's fine during the day...not so much in the middle of the night when you're traveling with someone else. I was glad there was a fitness center, though it was very limited.|As I said, the staff was very nice and helpful. They get 5 stars!!
Absolutely horrible hotel if you have sleep problems and sensitive ears. You can hear people opening and slamming doors all night and you can hear footsteps overhead. Breakfast was good and staff are friendly.
This is my favorite Hilton to stay at when I visit Modesto because of the price and nearby food options all in walking distance. You pay less than it costs to stay downtown and I’ve had better experiences here overall. You’ll hear the train at night, but it isn’t loud enough to bother me 99% or the time.
L’accueil a été exceptionnel et la chambre était impeccable. Rapport qualité-prix excellent. Merci beaucoup! Nous reprendrons sans hésiter une chambre chez vous.
The front desk personnel are top notch. However, $250 as a surprise security deposit is ridiculous for this property. Also, at 10:45pm the Manager was carpet cleaning in the lobby and woke me up after a 4 hr drive. Terrible!! I was in RM 106 & no way were those two KING sz beds! No more Hilton hotels for me!! Marriott is much better!!
