Hampton Inn & Suites Milwaukee West - Hotel in West Allis - 8201 W Greenfield Ave, USA

Friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms. Comfortably beds and the necessary hotels pillows I have ever slept on. The pool is small but it is very family friendly in that it is 3 to 5 ft deep and not freezing. Free breakfast was cereal, make your own waffles, fruit and yogurt, omelet and sausage and juice/coffee. Very nice. Wifi worked too but you need to create a free account to access it. Climate control was very easy and efficient in the room too. Convenient location. Would stay here again.

Everything about this Hampton Inn was perfect for us. Check-in was smooth; room was excellent; bed was comfortable; amenities were just what we needed. Breakfast was excellent, including hot sausage. The staff were very welcoming. They even provide free shuttle service to Brewers' games. A great choice, especially if attending a Brewers' game of an activity at nearby State Fair Park.

Stayed in a king room 2 nights. Wasn't up to par for us. Shower had absolutely no pressure and bed wasn't the normal comfy Hampton bed. There was no hot coffee until 6:30 am. Wasn't happy. The breakfast was ok but no coffee at 6:30 and the fact that breakfast started at 6am makes me think they have a staffing issue there. The bar is way overpriced, and the area where the hotel is is really boring. Not really within walking distance of anything but McDonalds and the state fair grounds parking lot. Front desk clerk that checked us in that evening was very nice and helpful but the one that checked us out the next morning needed some customer service training. When I asked for a receipt she said 'oh you'll get that in your email' and walked off. I called her back and told her I wanted a printed receipt and she did it, but acted like I was being a pain. I am a Hilton Honors member and was very disappointed in this hotel.

Spent a week at this hotel. Everything went smoothly. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The rooms were cleaned every other day. ||The employees were very friendly and polite. Rebecca in the bar / restaurant was excellent. Definitely an asset to the hotel. ||I enjoyed my stay even though it was pricey, $1516 for Monday through Sunday.

This was a fine hotel. You can tell they have quite a bit of deferred maintenance in the room and the carpet didn’t feel super clean but they have free on site parking and it’s not far from the highway. The continental breakfast is not great at all but they are right next to a McDonald’s.

Both front desk employees were AWESOME. Outside was clean & well lit. No funky hotel smell. Everything looked very clean. Room wasn't anything over the top. The printed curtain was broken. The floor could use a good carpet cleaning as could the fridge cabinet. Pillows were AWFUL. Completely flat, even when we balled them up. Breakfast was ok. Fresh waffles, eggs, sausage and potatoes. However the clothed furniture needs a good soapy scrub.

The front desk staff were amazing. We can't thank them enough for their empathy and caring during a very difficult time for us. The hotel itself was clean and very comfortable.

Made a reservation for this property back in March, then modified it in June for an August 2nd stay on the Hilton website to stay during State Fair. Got to the property and although we had an email confirmation for the reservation they say they didn’t get the booking from Hilton. They said they would work on options for us during the day while we were at the Fair…ha! They did nothing. Didn’t care, no options for us so we had to drive all the way home. They said they would call us in a couple of days with any offer to compensate…ha! Nothing! I wouldn’t trust this property or the management. Stay somewhere else.
