Rooms are big and mainly clean but windows havent been cleaned in a long time. Breakfast is good for a free being a breakfast but limited selection. Stairs never get cleaned and my room got skipped a few days even though room cleans are scheduled every other day. No real social area except inside at the dining tables, laundry room machines need attention as they are dirty on the inside.
This hotel was filthy, couch and sofa both stained. Paint and plaster falling off walls and ceiling directly over my bed and in bathroom. Stayed 3 nights, room was never cleaned, had to track down my own towels, shower shampoo, conditioner and body gel all completely empty. Tried to contact management, they never seemed available. I never leave negative reviews, but, stay at your own risk. Truly an awful experience.
Found previous occupants vibrator between the 2nd & 3rd shower towel. Found a dead bug in the ice bucket. Coffee maker had debris in the water tank and looks like it was never cleaned out. Shower didn't work properly, had water coming from faucet and shower head. Tiles in the shower were not clean. Tv screen looked like it was wiped down with dirty rag. Microwave dirty. Front door had large gap.
Do not stay here! I am posting this on Saturday, June 29th. We are staying here this weekend. There is zero a/c in the hallways and bathroom. The indoor pool was significantly hotter than outside at 8:30pm. Water temperature was registering at 94.3 degrees. When we asked about the a/c being restored, we were told that it could be months, then the front desk person chuckled and said they were hoping for someone to work on it on Monday. There was complete disregard for the extremely high temps in the pool area. If you're hoping to relax or cool off after being outside at a tournament all day, this isn't the place. It's so stifling in the hallways that we didn't want to have to go down to our vehicles to get things we needed.
The shelves are also falling off the wall in our bathroom and we're using a towel to wedge the sliding bathroom door closed.
For the very high rate, as a Hilton member, this is the worst experience we've had in a hotel.
So...stayed here since it was so close to my work destination. Not good overall. The room setup was the strangest I have seen and I travel a lot. The TV was only visible by standing directly in front of it. The bed and sofa were at opposite ends of the room and the TV was in the middle at a 90 degree angle. The room was huge but all the space was wasted.
It may be a one-off but the pic is an example of their clean up and bed making prowess. I had to get a sheet set from the front desk at 10 pm and do it myself. The fitness room had one working treadmill, no bench, and no water.
The breakfast was okay but you can do a lot better!
Overall good experience. The employees were friendly and helpful. The room had a couple of small issues but nothing that would make me not want to stay there again.
The hotel is severely lacking. It's very hard to find the entrance as there's no sign. And when you eventually find it, it's blocked by a long branch in the middle of the drive making it hard to drive through. The girl at the front desk was friendly. However the elevator shaky, with a torn photo of two women on it. Is it supposed to be marketing for something or a missing poster? My door is filthy. It looks like it was kicked in and someone did terrible patch work on it, Inside my room, there are no working lights. So as I type this I'm literally sitting in the dark with only the bathroom light to see anything. there are stains on the rug, but hey at least there are cute paper flower decor on your toilet paper. Luckily I'm here for 1 night only. But this was a waste of my points. I say follow the other reviews and skip this hotel.
Toooo HOT for June in Texas! No AC in the hallways, no AC in the breakfast area??? The rooms have a box AC unit at best and do not stay cold. Overall, two stars at best and next time we are in town we will not care about Hilton rewards and stay elsewhere! Not worth being hot and sweaty! Do that outside in Texas!
