My recent stay was overall quite pleasant. The staff was exceptional - friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to help. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay.
There was just one downside - the pool. Unfortunately, it had a strong odor of rotten eggs, which I believe is caused by chlorine reacting to organic materials in the water. This could potentially be addressed by improving the pool's circulation and filtration system, or by shocking the pool with chlorine.
Despite the pool issue, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to others, especially those looking for spacious accommodations and friendly service. With some attention to the pool, this hotel could be even better!
The front desk receptionist named Mayra really made our day. My best friend and I went walking today and we wanted to check out the wall mural and decided to stop by to Check out the breakfast buffet. She allowed us and with a warm welcoming smile too. I’m having a hard time right now and it’s Just wonderful to be shown kindness! Looking at the breakfast dish, it looked delicious and have some healthy options as well: thank you Mayra! May God bless you and this establishment
New facility. Personal service was lacking. Staff not dressed appropriately (sweatsuits). No coffee in lobby either of 2 days/nights we stayed there. Breakfast was fair( muffins half frozen).
Stayed there for one single day. The room was very spacious and cozy, too.
All the things inside the room are very nice .
The Washroom was neat and clean.
Provisinn of YouTube in room makes kids stay more comfortable .
Breakfast was good. Options were numerous as per English breakfast.
Overall, our stay was worth every penny.
Professional and friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Pretty good choices for the breakfast. Unfortunately the doors to the rooms are extra heavy and consequently very loud when they close so very difficult to get sleep with people coming and going! Also these were the thinnest and scratchiness towels I have ever seen at a Hilton hotel.
Susan, the front desk attendant was extremely rude throughout our stay. We had requested a rollaway bed and although they were available, she refused to give us one. I had called before arrival and been told by Susan that I could have a rollaway but on arrival things changed. I would not have booked the hotel if that was the case. There were also no towels in our room or pool area and when I called to ask, was told by Susan “that’s not my jurisdiction, that’s housekeeping” but carried on to say that housekeeping was not there so couldn’t help me!!! I spent days trying to contact the hotel manager through email and phone and he chose not to reply. At one point Susan pretended to be the hotel manager, but I had already researched and knew a male named Gordon was the manager so caught her in that lie and she fumbled for her words at that point. I ended up having to contact Hilton head office in order to get a refund and yet to receive an apology or acknowledgment by the hotel manager. We travel a ton and have never been treated this way.
As an elite member, i asked for complementary upgrade to a suite since we have someone on wheelchair and prefer bigger room, that was not granted. There were not water and snack given to me during the check in although I select these instead of bonus points, and I have to ask for it during the check-out time, I normally get greeted as elite member during checking in at other Hilton or Marriott properties, not here though. There are room for improvement on service at this property.
This was an excellent hotel. My husband and I traveled here with our 4 kids. We always stay in Marina in different hotels. This time we decided to try Hampton inn. It was freshly remodeled. HUGE ROOMS. Very clean. Indoor Pool was small but had it to ourselves and it was a perfect temperature. Fruit baskets set out for grab and go snack. Breakfast was AMAZING. Zero complaints and that's saying something when my kids jokingly call me a "Karen". Staff were friendly and it's close to the beach, Walmart and 7/11. Will definitely be staying here again.
We have visited here many times. However, this is our first time back since the pandemic. We would have returned earlier. However, the prices have almost doubled. What once was somewhat expensive ($400/night on a weekend) for an Ocean Front Jr. S
We went on Saturday, December 16, 2023. A rare opportunity and a new way to enjoy the coastal views! We saw a local news story and checked it out because locals usually don't do tourist stuff. Electric assist pedaling was super easy and staff very n
