Hampton Inn & Suites Largo - Hotel in Largo - 100 E Bay Dr, USA

We chose Hampton Inn because of its reputation. The beds are very comfortable. Pillows are great. Breakfast was very good. This hotel is looking a little worn but not terrible. Definitely clean. With a little attention to some details, I would’ve given us a five star rating.

Check in with Ronda was fabulous. So helpful and friendly. Room was clean. Bed was fantastic. Lots of noise from street. I would ask for a room in back. Breakfast was wonderful. Lots of choices. A couple of people thought it was ok to take 6 bagels but certainly not the hotel fault. Great stay.

From the moment we arrived Eileen made us feel like family. Very personable, friendly and extremely helpful providing maps to our destinations, where to eat, and other attractions to visit. Upon entering our room, the tv screen welcomed us as Hilton honors members, very impressive, have never had that at other Hampton! Room was very clean and tidy. Also, Dennis at the front desk was also extremely friendly and pleasant. Also , like Eileen went above and beyond to help us with destinations, etc. These two need to become mentors to new team members!! Our housekeeper, Isabell was pleasant and friendly. She would make towel art every day and leave in our room. Such a nice touch, thoughtful. Every staff member was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was amazing every morning. Would definitely recommend this Hampton to anyone, wonderful experience.

The ONLY reason I gave two stars was because of the people. FDA Ronda was great, both at my initial check in and when I needed to switch rooms. The breakfast attendant was also very friendly and welcoming.||As for the rest of the stay, I cannot understand how this hotel got so many positive reviews.||I initially checked in on the app and stopped by the front desk upon my arrival close to 9:00 pm to grab a snack. Ronda was very friendly and welcoming and seems to really enjoy her job. However, as soon as I opened the door to room 317, I noticed a strong urine smell. Once I got into the room, I noticed it was pretty beat up and could use a coat of paint. Also, the door to the connecting room was open a couple of inches, only being held in place by the safety latch; the deadbolt was broken and would not lock, so the door wouldn't remain closed. Anyone in the room next door could have peeked in and saw me (I feel sorry for them as I'm not a handsome man). Back to the smell, which I though was maybe coming from the bathroom but I couldn't find the source. Anyway, I went back down to the front desk where Ronda put me in a new room. The new room, room 323, was a studio suite and a good size, but like the other one, it was pretty beat up. The furniture was old, the walls needed a coat of paint yet the trim areas had been painted so much they looked terrible. One of the towels had a hair in it as did the bathtub. Just an overall unpleasant experience.||Breakfast was on par with other Hampton Inns, which is fine for a free breakfast.||Like I said, I don't know how this hotel got such good ratings for being so beat up. Except for Ronda, this hotel is a mess.

I stayed here one night in December for a concert in Clearwater and was pleasantly surprised. The place is decorated to the nines for Christmas. The workers are happy and welcoming and very friendly. There's a wonderful community park right across the street, also all decorated with lights. They also had a Ferris wheel, a carousel, and another ride for kids there. This may just be for the holidays but not sure. Breakfast was good and the 2 ladies working it were kind and sweet. I will definitely stay here again.

Service was 10/10. From the reservation taken by Mr. Nestor on the reservations department to our arrival where Ms. Ronda at the front desk was just amazing! The hotel felt LGBTQI friendly (noted by us as a gay couple). Clean room, AMAZING breakfast.

I booked Hampton Inn Largo last minute due to sudden changes with travel plans. I am so happy I picked this hotel in the area because value for the money, location, service, breakfast and rooms=10/10 excellent. Irene at the front desk was extremely welcoming and friendly. It made us feel so appreciated and valued as a guest. The rooms were spacious and very clean. I’ve been to some Hilton locations where cleaning staffs are very loud or walls are not insulated well (no sound proof) I can hear everything in the room. We were able to sleep peacefully at this location and actually enjoy complimentary breakfast.

Perfect place to stay. Rooms are clean and well tended. Complimentary breakfasts are very good with a large selection. Breakfast Staff is extraordinary and friendly. Front desk was very accommodating when we asked to extend our stay. Price was reasonable.
