Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Wales - Hotel in Lake Wales - 22900 US-27, USA

Checked in late last night. Was greeted by very friendly night staff. I don’t recall the gentleman’s but the lady’s name was Frances. They were both very helpful. The room was clean. This morning the cleaning staff was in the hallway, again friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good. Overall a calm, peaceful pleasant place to stay.

I highly recommend the Hampton Inn in Lake Wales. Rhett, the Manager, made sure everything was perfect during our stay there on April 24, 2024. He arranged that extra pillows and a roll-away bed were put in the room for us before we arrived. When we entered the hotel lobby to check in, Rhett and his staff were very friendly, gave us a warm welcome, and made us feel like special guests. ||Our room was clean and quiet and had a great view. The wifi worked great, the a/c was nice and cold, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of great choices, including a waffle-making section.||They had complimentary USA Today newspapers, and they had ice-cream novelties for sale for $2 each if you wanted a midnight snack! ||We are grateful for everything Rhett and the staff did for us to make our stay wonderful! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

This is an older hotel, but still good. We stayed here a couple of years ago during Ian. This time, my air conditioning was not working, so I had to come and stay.|I called early evening, and they were happy to accommodate me. I am also an honors member. I got there around 8 o’clock. For a Monday night, the hotel was fairly busy. The front desk was absolutely wonderful and I think it was Diane that was there. I remember her from last time. She gave me a room facing the pond in the back. And also gave me a cold can of Coke, so that I didn’t have to buy one. The room was extremely clean and very cool, which I needed. The humidity and heat is extreme at this time of year, and it’s a bad time to be without AC. I had to work the next morning early, so I got up and went to breakfast. They offer 3 types of coffee and it is excellent. I had eggs, sausage juice, and a waffle. Everything was delicious. The service here is great and I highly recommend the hotel. We will come anytime there is the threat of a hurricane. It is definitely worth the peace of mind.

On our way back to Florida, we stopped at this wonderful hotel. Good customer service, very good price, I loved the size of the room, refrigerator and microwave included. I am very comfortable to be able to spend days in it and not want to leave. I loved...

Stayed here because we are Hilton Members, also because it was close too my sister, who we were visiting. The room was terrible beds were lumpy ,the chair in the rm was so wobbly you couldn't sit in it. The toilet was very Low,even for me at 4'9. First day there we had too lea ve because of the Jack Hammering above us( we were on the third fl). Rm service wasn't great. Kitchen employee almost raninto me and had a mad on about what I don't know. The Spanish woman for the dinnig rm always had a smile and a good morning greeting for us. Sorry but will not be back too this Hotel.

My daughter had a wedding at Bella cosa on May 31 2024 I called last year to book 10 rooms for the nite before I personally talked to manager (Rhett) about this .He told me yes he will hold 10 rooms for me and block rooms for guest on wedding day. Talked to him at least 3 times to confirm plus e mailed got there on May 30th and no rooms were ready for me and my family and wedding party. Thank God for Erica she totally rocked took over even Mr Rhett tried to tell me I must have misunderstood him. Really how come when I called 3 weeks prior about renting the meeting room the person I talked to said yes I see your reservations and u can have it for free because u have 10 rooms booked. SO after Erica took over he just totally ignored me and didn't even try to apologize or compensate the problem. Erica was truly a blessing and saved the day. I was also told I would get a cheaper rate never happened plus I let people know because it was a destination wedding to use Hampton inn and they would give u a better rate my friend called twice once to say the Taylor /Norris wedding and once to see what the reg rate was SAME price really. The Rooms were nice Pool was awesome family had a blast and the Breakfast was top notch. Again Erica save the day when we had leftover food from our rehearsal dinner and she allowed me to store it in the refrigerators. Erica ran the show plus there was a man the night shift he was also awesome. I think Rhett needs to just stay in the office and do nothing. If you decide to rent rooms for a wedding I suggest you ask for Erica and not to bother with the manager (Rhett) because he won't remember you.

Erica and Nick gave exceptional service. The rooms were clean, we had amazing service, free breakfast, and I LOVED our room. I even sent videos bragging about it. We stayed for 4 days and had zero problems our whole stay. 14 minutes from Legoland + Peppa Pig Park, and minutes away from several restaurants.

Positive: 1. Location: easy to get to downtown, attractions, and my relative's home. 2. All the staff members were polite, courteous and helpful. 3. Swimming pool. 4. Breakfast bar with many choices. 5. View from my window across pastures, pond and woodlands. Negative: The exercise room was very small with limited equipment. I would have liked some weights.
