Hampton Inn & Suites Huntersville - Hotel in Huntersville - 10305 Wilmington St, USA

Made an unplanned stop on our drive back north from FL. Just needed a place to crash for a few hours to recharge. We rolled in around 11pm and the front desk clerk quickly got us a room among the last few left. Unneeded, we were given an accessible room which had way more space and items than we required. ||The room was very clean as were all areas that we noted. The bath tub appeared to have a sperate control than the shower. Though not needed, the cartridge for the tub control was coming out and the water to it was shut off. The main shower head and the moveable head for the accessibly part of the room worked great. Water was available hotter than we could stand but easy to control to any temperature! The water pressure was good as well. ||The room was fully stocked with all amenities expected. Everything else but the tub noted above was functional as expected.||The hotel during our stay was nice and quiet even though heavily occupied. ||The fresh cookies and water bottles at check in were a nice touch. We did not utilize the free hot breakfast or any other amenities such as wifi. ||We would definitely stay here again if passing though and needing a room.

Very nice large rooms, beds very clean and extremely comfortable, The comforter especially was thick and warm . Quality brand hair and body wash as well. For a quick overnight stay with hearty breakfast included it was very lovely. We checked in at 12 pm after a long trip and the front office lady was nothing but sweet and welcoming

We really like this hotel in general, as the staff is friendly and the breakfast is nice. However, this time we visited was awful. Our first night was spent listening to loud construction that went on all night long right next to the hotel parking lot. We were offered ear plugs but you could hear the construction even with them in. On top of that the heat in our room didn’t work and we froze all night. We begged for another room but we’re told the hotel was booked. The very next morning the hotel did move our room, but in our next room the air would not cut on and it was burning hot all night. The fan would run very loudly and bang but no cool air would come out. The air conditioning systems in this hotel are awful. I will say the hotel comped our first night without us having to ask, which was nice, but we still don’t feel like we were taken care of and made whole for the experience. None of us got any sleep on our vacation and we are absolutely exhausted and sick now that we are home after the temperature issues. This is unfortunate because we have had good stays here in the past.

Top notch staff, extremely courteous and helpful. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Very nice complimentary breakfast is provided each morning. The location is great, and easy to access from the interstate. I will definitely stay there again.

Stayed here after a friend's wedding in the North Charlotte area on a Friday night. Since it was about 11:30pm, the Hilton app makes it easily convenient to check in ahead of time and go right to my room (unlocking it with my phone). The bed was comfy, sheets were clean. You can tell some parts of the room (flooring) have recently been updated, but others (furniture, shower) have not. Free breakfast in the morning was decent. Small lobby. Not the best Hampton Inn I've stayed at, but certainly not the worst. Got the job done for a one-night stay.

The STAFF are wonderful. (Especially Claudia at the breakfast area, love her.) Breakfast was good. However, the hotel itself is not up to par. Hallway carpet was filthy (actual dirt & various other small debris.) It was never vacuumed at all during our 2 nt stay (I did report it.) The room had a disgusting mildew odor. I was told we could not be moved due to heavy bookings. Room was only "eh" clean. I never unpacked & always walked w/socks on. The lobby & breakfast area were VERY clean (but 24 hr lobby coffee was cold to lukewarm.) I suggest hiring more cleaning staff for the rooms. Due to odor & lack of room cleanliness I do not recommend this hotel. (The front desk staff were as accommodating as they could be, I do not fault them!)

Location was great and great area to stay for dogs. However sheets were not cleaned - it smelled so strongly of perfume from whoever stayed there prior and the AC unit was banging all night long. It sounded like a motorcycle was sitting idle outside our room the entire time it was on. I would not stay here again but found another hotel close by the area and will be staying there next time. I do not recommend this place.

If I had to choose one word to describe this hotel it would be exquisite. The hotel the overall accommodation and the entire staff was positively excellent. It is a little higher price than some of the other hotels around it but it is absolutely worth every dime. If you’re looking for an outstanding stay this is the place.
