I give the staff 5 stars, but the hotel should be closed during renovations. Eventually this will be a great place, but for now, steer clear. Too many things went south, the worst was an open window at either end of our hallway with no screens. Just a 3 story drop. Tub was awful, not replaced or refinished, no stopper for a bath. Fridge was tiny. The only saving grace was their staff who also had to put up with the reno & a faulty elevator & only 2 luggage carts!
DON'T DO IT, RECONSIDER While this place may be worth the stay once renovations are done, it is not worth the price you pay. It was like an episode of American Horror Story. Wish I had read reviews beforehand. No working elevators. The tub was nasty, the room temperature was set at 78° heat, with it being 98° outside. I definitely slept on top of the covers, fully clothed. Requested a discount due to the limitations, was told no. Guess the hilton honors mean nothing. The morning staff was nice. That's the only positive thing about the stay.
Appalled is an understatement here. While we were warned of the impacted services during renovation, we were not prepared for what we encountered in our room.
1. Clogged sink. Not the biggest deal, but we were told:
A. Hotel was booked, no rooms to move us to. Not a big deal because...
B. Maintenance would be by in the morning. Great! Then we found out the next morning that maintenance wasn't working this weekend, nothing they can do.
Then I started to see more as we stayed in the room.
2. The window had hand prints on it, wasn't cleaned. Made me wonder what else was dirty.
3. The tub is rusted, covered by a ripped shower mat. When I let the front staff know, she said the majority of the tubs there were rusted. I'm pretty sure this is a significant safety issue.
4. Iron dripping water with less than an 8th of the tank filled.
5. The elevator broke. Had to carry all of our luggage and ice chest downstairs with kiddos in tow.
Seriously, this felt like a cheap, unbranded hotel, not what I expect from a Hilton product, especially since we've stayed at the same brand in Flagstaff without issue.
Was also told to reach out to the manager on Monday, which I've yet to do. I'll start with Corporate first, as well as Trivago and Expedia, for recommending this place with high ratings.
9/5: Great response. What TV speaker are you referring to? Are you copy/pasting your responses because there's too many to respond to, or just lazy?
I stayed at this Hampton inn on July 24th, 2024. Simply put, DO NOT STAY HERE if they are undergoing renovations. They will inform you ahead of time that most amenities are unavailable. What they won't tell you is that the rooms are dirty and disgusting. Also, there is another, fully functional, Hilton property less than 5 minutes away. (Hilton garden)
I had hoped that the reviews I read about this location were exaggerated since it was the only place available for our one-night stop. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disappointment! Being a loyal Diamond Hilton member, it's surprising that this hotel has not lost its status with Hilton. Despite knowing about the ongoing renovation and the closed pool, we were disappointed to find that all public facilities were closed. The parking situation was awful, with the back part of the lot fenced off for construction. It was concerning to see an emergency exit closed due to the blocked parking lot. The entire building, both inside and out, was dirty. The room was outdated, lacked toiletries, and only had two sets of towels. The front desk staff were inattentive at check-in, making us realize it was pointless to address any concerns with them. Although breakfast was offered in the morning, the overall condition of the facility was so unpleasant that we didn't even attempt to try it. This facility is not up to the standard expected of a Hilton establishment.
Avoid this hotel at all costs. Hotel is under renovation and all public areas are closed (gym, pool, laundry, public restroom on lobby floor) and the elevator is broken so you'll have to carry your luggage up the stairs. There are no standard amenities whatsoever. Parking is limited as most of the parking lot has been converted to construction staging. On the night I arrived there was also no wi-fi available. This property should clearly be closed until renovations are complete, and the cost of the room does not reflect the current status of the hotel. I emailed the hotel manager asking for a reasonable discount based on the condition of the hotel but never got a response and they charged me full price. I'm shocked that Hilton allows this type of hotel to operate in its current condition. Obviously customer satisfaction is not a factor.
Stay away. This location is currently under renovation. None of the amenities are open (IE: pool, fitness center, business center, laundry, etc.). Enter first and third floors are closed. 1st floor smelled like a sewer. Not even my dog wanted to walk into the place. Made a reservation on the Hilton Honors website and there was no notice about this. When I checked in, the front counter person claims there was notice. Too late to cancel and go somewhere else. Hampton is charging full price for the room. Which is a crime.
The room I got was old, with stained furniture, desk chair that didn't work, really bad WiFi and smelled. There were no amenities in the bathroom (shampoo, soap, lotion, etc.) as there usually is. Water coming out of the tap was light brown in color and smelled wrong. Front desk was oblivious about it. Thankfully I only have to be here one night.
Not the usual Hampton experience. Best wait until the reno is done to see if this location comes up the Hampton standards that guests expect.
they were the best of service to us in many ways just very caring staff from the front desk Mae and Wanda were my favorite forever well they remind of what care is. the house keepers were wonderful and helpful, the ladies that made our breakfast. I m
I do not usually share my review, online. We made a 1 night stop in Gallup, during our family trip. So glad we found and chose this hotel, the room was well stocked and clean. The staff are all kind and helpful. The breakfast host Teresa was a bonus;
Last minute booking for a business trip. Brand new hotel with great accommodations. Room was clean and well cared for. Breakfast was great, which saves you both time and money when youâre running late in the morning. Only downside is that it is a b
What a wonderful experience and to see how this hotel is blessing so many by working with project search is so special. The breakfast staff was simply wonderful and so full of kindness and joy. Even when it got really busy they never lost their smile
I wasn't expecting to have Middle Eastern food for dinner this evening, but when I asked Yelp for restaurants that were open and inexpensive, this place was at the top of the list and it's near where I want to be. Easy.
Warmly greeted and seated, I
We enjoy the new Lost Raiders here in a very nicely done old theater. We were only ones there and sat in the perfect spot. The staff was friendly and the restrooms were clean. We park right out front also. The seat are the most comfortable I have sat
Excellent products, they have a lot of organic and out of town products. Recently (posted January 2023) they upgraded their refrigerators and produce aisle. It looks awesome! It's always a pleasure to go here and they take EBT(SNAP) also.
Absolutely amazing sandwiches, 2nd time here and they are consistent with the food and quality ingredients. And being open 24hrs was amazing! Also 2nd time trying the donuts and I'd have to say to pass on these, stick to the sandwiches. The staff are
Front of house was spotless! The people here take pride in their space. All 3 serving staff visited our table and were friendly. Great team and great service. Biscuits and gravy were fantastic, as was coffee.
