Stayed here with our family on our way back from Disney. We put on our reservation for our suite that we had a toddler and a baby. Our kids were quietly playing and exploring the space and we got a noise complaint. The employee couldn’t tell us why or what would happen if someone called us in again, but advised we let them run around the lobby instead of our room. I don’t know how you’d expect kids to be quieter in a lobby with a lot more that they can get in to. We’ve stayed at multiple hotels and resorts on our month long trip and have never received a noise complaint before. If you expect children to be silent, don’t allow them on the reservations. If someone is coming with kids, you should place them away from others that don’t have kids with them.
The room was not very clean. There were candy underwear made for adult time wedged between the mattresses. No shampoo or conditioner in the room. Stains all over the curtains and lamps. The TV didn’t work correctly.
We will not be staying again and would absolutely not recommend this location for anyone traveling with kids unless you want to be made to feel like your kids need to be silent.
We will be staying somewhere else when we travel through here again.
The beds were VERY uncomfortable... Pillows on Kingsize bed were only standard size.. Linens need serious updating as do ENTIRE furnishings!! I was a little apprehensive as we walked down the hallway to our room... carpeting had white crumbs everywhere!!??? We were traveling through Dothan and it was the perfect halfway stop for us.Chose this property because I have always had pleasant stays at every Hampton Inn I have stayed at.... Personnel was very nice.. but.. a lot needs to change here!!!!
In town tending to my mom during a recent hospital stay at Southeast Health. It's an easy drive, about 12-15 min. Parking lots are well lit, as is the lobby. Lobby and rooms are nice and clean & well maintained. I can't say I have any complaints, though this is probably the slowest elevator door I've ever seen, lol. Typical breakfast buffet with limited service hotels, though their "egg white frittata" is nothing more than a frozen egg patty. They offered biscuits and gravy Sunday morning along with their usual offerings of cereal, Muffins, Bagels, and the option to make your own Waffles (others' looked good, but I didn't have any).
Service was nice and simple when I spoke to the desk, but I checked in through the app and used a digital key, so I had limited interaction with their team.
Location is good, there are many restaurants and shopping around, plus it's easily accessible. Good place for families or quick trips in/out of town. The bed was very comfortable, I loved the comforter; it hugged me and kept me very warm.
Overall, it was a good stay. I'd stay here again.
Tony at the Hampton Inn is better than the best. First time ever getting a check in call over the phone the previous night, and Tony was even willing to help me get into the gym when I got to the hotel. Bathroom code? He’s got it. The most helpful hotel concierge, friendly, kind, and absolutely knowledgeable about the town of Dothan. I don’t know why you would stay anywhere else when there’s a hotel with this high level of service. Definitely coming back next time I’m on the road west! Clean rooms, spotless bathrooms, fabulous amenities.
Very nicely appointed room. Very nice breakfast area with a hot breakfast. It is right off of 231, the highway from Montgomery. The prices in Dothan seem high and of course the sales tax is high, but not as high as in Kentucky. We chose Hampton even though it was higher priced than some because we wanted the amenities.
The hotel is not well maintained. Carpeting is worn and dirty. Room was warm and stuffy and the a/c struggled to cool the room. Pillows and bedding old and shows wear. Bathroom amenities were bare minimum, only shampoo/conditioner and bar soap. No lotion or body wash, etc. We didn't eat breakfast after checking offerings. Again, it was bare minimum. Also,no bottled water for Hilton Honors guests.

Asked if I would like my complimentary water
The room was on the the third floor and the elevator is slow and
made strange noises with a sign no more than 5 people at a time
The room was clean a/c worked perfectly. Bathroom clean the bed was good I’ve had better but it was comfy. Overall I had a good experience
The hotel was okay. The lobby area was clean. The rooms were clean but dated. Did not realize it was pet friendly and caused our daughter who is allergic to animals with fur to have an allergic reaction. The man at checkin was friendly. The lady at the breakfast area kept it clean and stocked.

In my opinion the best establishments, are discovered by word of mouth and everyone I asked in Dothan told me to check out this restaurant.
The food is served cafeteria style and you can choose the classic southern plate of one meat with three sides
This is without a doubt the friendliest restaurant in all our travels. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of from drinks to dessert!
This is now our favorite when we travel through the area.
Thank you to the staff
The Sugar Shack was great yesterday! My husband had 3 piece fried fish and I had a fried pork chop sandwich. The music, drinks, customer service and vibes were awesome. Only minor complaint was the the lettuce wasnât chopped well in the salad. Also
