Hampton Inn & Suites-Dallas Allen - Hotel in Allen - 830 W Stacy Rd, USA

We stayed last week due to being out of power for 4 days! It was a beautiful unplanned stay. Ms. Bridget at the front desk was phenomenal her personality was amazing. She was very helpful with providing extra towels and covers during our stay. We enjoyed the cookies in the clear container at the front desk as well. The price wasn’t as high as I expected and I was very grateful for the last minute openings everywhere else was booked. The continental breakfast was enjoyable as well.. the room was big and spacious and smelled clean and I didn’t see any bugs as mentioned in the other review. I’m assuming they had the wrong location.. again, I would stay here and recommend to all my colleagues. Will be back!

Positive: The AC in our room worked great, we had it set at 65, and it stayed 65 even in the 100+ temps. The indoor pool was good my teen boys enjoyed it. The breakfast was good (eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, bagels, cereal, fresh fruit, TX shaped waffles) Negative: The bathroom was older, it wasn't really clean, but I brought my Clorox wipes and cleaned it myself.

Ezben and Shannon always make our stays pleasant. Amber is an excellent edition as well. I never have an issue with noise at this location. Food and Service is top notch and I recommend this location to anyone that enjoys spacious room and personable staff.

CHECK your sheets! We were about ready to retire for the night and noticed stains on the fitted sheet. Called the front desk to see if we could get some CLEAN sheets...when went to get the 2nd set of sheets...not ONLY were they stained but also worn so thin in several places the you could see through the sheet! The THIRD try finally were at least clean appearing. Unfortunately the person at the front desk didn't apologize and on the SECOND attempt to get clean sheets made my husband show her where the stains were!!! DO BETTER HAMPTON INN!

Rooms are big, it says on the bathroom mirror that we get room service every other day. We didn’t get any room service. I asked at the front desk if we could get some room service. The lady with short hair (black woman) told us “ im not sure if thats possible” she didn’t even ask in what room we were, i walked away cause she didn’t care for anything at all. And no im not racist by saying black woman. Everyone else was super nice. Also how does a hotel work without a laundry room?

The hotel was for us perfectly located, close but not too close to DFW. Also maybe 20 min. away is the Southfork Ranch for the older ones. The hotel itself was nice, quiet and another reason for us was the very close proximity to the Allen outlet stores. The breakfast was ok but still could be improved. Another thing was that you couldn't open the windows even a bit. I understand that this is not common in the US especially during the heat but it would help for sure to freshen up the air in the room. The air condition was not too loud.

Unlike Hamptons I've experienced in the midwest, the night staff and breakfast attendant treated us like we were an inconvenience to them. We asked for an equivalent room change because of light coming in from behind the flag pole outside, but the room on 5th floor was substandard (rock-hard beds, dirty carpet, dirty AC air filter, run-down bathroom and banged-up fridge). The third room on the 2nd floor was only slightly an improvement and smelled sour. The breakfast attendant complained to guests about how messy guests are and was rude to our pre-teen son at breakfast. The hotel is generally very run down, as are the other Hamptons in north and east Texas near Dallas. The only positive is the location. The second Hampton Rockwall was just as rundown. The service there was much better in Rockwall. I expect much more from Hampton being a Hilton Honor member for 20 plus years with mostly very good customer service and condition of hotels.

My bed was the best! Breakfast was hot. The workers were nice. It was a great stay.
