Hampton Inn & Suites Clearwater Beach - Hotel in Clearwater Beach - 635 S Gulfview Blvd, USA

Great stay at the Hampton Inn in Clearwater Beach. We loved how quiet the area around the hotel was compared to the more touristy areas in town and the private beach was perfect. The attendants did a great job and Mark was so personable. The bartender at Evy’s was also great and the food and drinks were delicious. The servers on the beach at the restaurant next door were amazing as well.|It was so neat to be able to get restaurant and drink services on the beach and pool. I will definitely stay again and next time will bring my kids and I know they will love it too!

We checked in to the hotel on Wednesday night and were disappointed with the experience. The room we were given had a strong odor, and it was evident that the hotel is showing its age. While the room wasn’t dirty, it also couldn’t be described as truly clean. The water pressure was poor, the bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way, and whenever another guest used their faucet, a high-pitched noise came from our bathroom. Our experience at the beach was also less than satisfactory. We were informed that we could not use our personal beach chairs in the hotel’s beach area. After explaining that the alternative area had rough, uneven sand due to the rain, the staff member allowed us to stay but insisted that we couldn’t be in front of the paying beach chair guests. As we moved to the designated area, another staff member rudely called out to us in front of other guests, pointing at our chairs and saying, “Ladies, no.” I informed him that his coworker had given us permission due to the poor conditions in the other area. Despite this, we felt unwelcome and like we didn’t belong simply because we had brought our own beach chairs. We are paying guests, and frankly, at $250 a night, we expected a much higher level of service and accommodation. We should be able to fully utilize the hotel amenities that we paid for without feeling singled out. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet the standards we expect from Hilton, and we believe that for the price, better options are available in the area.

Positive: The room looks super nice and clean. The hotel is simple but elegant. It is very convenient to get to their private beach. Negative: The private beach is too small. The playable area is small. The water gets to my neck just 20 feet away from the sand. It is quiet and suitable for people that won't do a lot of activities on the beach.

This is a hidden gem at the end of Gulfview Blvd. We haven’t visited the Gulf beaches of FL for a number of years and decided to celebrate my retirement from 33 years as a classroom teacher and to spend our 25th Anniversary here for the week. This propert is walking distance to a market, beach shops , a liquor store and many restaurant options. The small private beach has white powdery sand and beautiful views. You can easily go from beach to the pool. The beach attendants, Mark and Al, couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful when renting our chairs daily. Al would check in to see if we needed drinks and brought us water from the bar. The Cabana Grill had great drinks and provided bar service on beach and by the pool. Greg at the front desk was so very helpful and the manager spoke to us frequently throughout our stay like she knew us and that we were regulars. Our housekeeper Sandra was so friendly and provided great service as well. As Diamond members, we can say without a doubt that this was one of our best stays at a Hampton Inn. We will certainly return!!!

I just came back from a weekend trip to the Hampton inn and suites and let me start by saying I have stayed at other Hampton inn and suites but can't say I ever had issues like this one. Let's start by our arrival on Friday the front desk was quick and polite. We get to our room and that is where the issues start please see pictures from rust in shower food in chair and cleanliness. I get a message from someone at the hotel asking if we were happy with room etc. I responded quickly to let them know issues and even said if they needed me to come down and show them the pictures and they said no and they would let management know and I mentioned maybe something to make up for this they can give free parking for the 2nights we were there and they said they would offer me something. So now that first night I go out with my 2 brother in laws and leave my wife and 2 children in the room to sleep. I get back at 1am and my room key is not working I tried about 5 times and then finally went to the front desk and told the night person there about issue and he said sounded like a battery issue and came up with me to try his master key which did not work either. So I had to call my wife and wake her up and the kids as well. Needless to say they were not happy at all. The night person said he would let management know and that they would get back to me as well. Saturday night I get a call from the manager and she gave me the free parking which I said for the original cleanliness issues but nothing for the room key issue which was bigger issue. I thought they would do something with the rates considering the inconvenience it was a beach hotel so I understand the higher prices but issues like the one I have should not happen at any hotel especially if they are going to charge higher end prices. I would hope I hear back from someone thanks

We loved this hotel! The staff were all wonderful and accommodating. Love that you can grab beach towels for free as long as you turn them back in at the end of the night. Private beach, pool, hot tub, clean room, and free breakfast! What more could you ask for? The balcony we had faced the city side, but honestly it was nice to look out at night with all the lights. I definitely would book again! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Aldo the dolphin hotel right next store is perfect! We had dinner there twice, very convenient.

Hotel was clean and the staff were super friendly! The complimentary breakfast was a perfect start of the day. Make sure you get to the beach early to get a front row seat, Mark and Allen are great! All the bartenders were nice and personable! We are already planning our next trip here. The hotel is a great location, the bay is perfect to relax and enjoy the water. We saw crabs, dolphins, manatees, and more! It was a perfect getaway.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights why we was away in the US for a 2 week holiday. We picked this hotel as it has its own private beach thought his would be good the our kids 7 and 8 they loved it . The rooms where nice and clean and the breakfast was good little ones really liked that they got to help make there waffles 🧇. Gregory on reception was really nice from start to finish very friendly and always had a smile. Mark on the beach ⛱️ was really nice and friendly went out his way to talk my husband and his grandad. The girls at the cabanas bar where really friendly . If we was to go to clearwater again I would stay at this hotel. Over all very happy 😊
