Hampton Inn & Suites Cincinnati-Mason - Hotel in Mason - 5232 Bardes Rd, USA

We had an enjoyable stay. The hotel was very clean, and the staff, notably Sam and Crystal, were very personable. The only issue with our room was the running toilet, but for a two-star hotel, they outrank many of the three-star hotels in neighboring states. We were in great proximity to Kings Island, and we couldn't have chosen better accommodations for our visit. Price, quality, proximity, and service were the key factors. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a decent stay. Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Shout out to the front desk who helped get us something printed and to the kitchen staff who were always smiling and helping everyone.||We used the pool and gym a lot so I am glad we had those amenities.||Breakfast was a typical Hampton Inn breakfast. I wish it had more gluten free options but that is feedback for all Hilton hotels.||Room was clean and comfortable. It did have a low musty smell but not terrible.||I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay for our weekend trip. The hotel was quiet at night and we got two good night sleeps The breakfast was good. Like most of these free breakfasts by mid morning when we attended it was busy...line for waffles...available seats limited. The location was good and convenient. Waffle house in walking distance if you needed a meal.

We stayed in a 2-queen studio. The room was large, with 2 queen beds, a desk and a sofa. The bathroom has two areas: sink and shower/toilet with a door between them. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed sheets were really nice. Four pillows per bed. Breakfast was average but I appreciate that it was available until 10am on a weekday. The eggs and waffles were tastier than most.

Our June 2024 stay at the Hampton Inn at 5232 Bardes Rd, Mason, OH 45040 had some problems. We appreciated the cleanliness of the room and that we did not hear any noise from other rooms, but we did have some problems that made our satisfaction less than perfect. 1. The shower gel bottle was empty and fell off the wall. It was not anchored to the wall with a screw, but just with caulk. When I reported the issue, the front desk person apologized, but did not give us a replacement. Since there was only 1 bar of soap for the sink, why couldn't they give us a bar of soap for the shower? 2. The sliding door on the bathroom was really noisy and sometimes would not shut properly due to the mechanism on the rail. The door also could not be locked for privacy. 3. The air conditioning worked, but was blowing directly on the foot of the bed by the window. Thankfully, the bed cover kept our feet from getting cold. 4. When arriving in the evening, there was an alcohol party going on with some visiting baseball team(s). Quite noisy and chaotic in the lobby area. 5. The next morning, the team(s) caused the breakfast area to have no open tables. So we had to eat our food, which was good, in the room. The waffle maker line was quite long, as well. We are not sure if we would stay at this Hampton Inn location on a future visit to the area. After hearing back from Hampton, we were given an apology by the manager. He said that we would receive 1,000 points for our issues. They used to have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Not at this location.

Came for the tennis tournament; location is good, venue overall is adequate. Pros: our room was large and very clean, as we've come to expect of Hampton Inns. Free breakfast is decent but fewer options/choices than we've seen elsewhere. Cons: Linens could use a refresh - some gray and tattered. Bed not firm enough. Minus one star for lack of recycling (the desk attendant even said "it's our policy not to recycle" - !) unacceptable.

Great stay for a quick 3 day work trip. The hotel has almost a majestic appearance when arriving, almost feels like a sophisticated downtown location. I had been a bit worried because id arrived late at night, but the guest parking was brightly lit and the entrance to the hotel was large and obvious with large windows where i could see the hotel staff as soon as i pulled in. Made me feel very safe and that the property was well looked after. Staff was helpful & friendly when i arrived, i had work items to bring in and though not part of their job, the manager and a front desk attendant helped me make a few trips to my room which was a breath of fresh air…most hotels just point to the one luggage rack. Breakfast was quite good, especially for the price of the room. Pillow selection was unexpected & a nice thought from management. Short uber ride or walk to many of Cincinnati’s best restaurants. Will be back in a few weeks! Thanks for the warm smiles and still being so nice even though i was so needy! Ha See you all soon!

Checked in early via the Hilton app and thought I was squared away, but still had to complete check-in up arrival. Not a big deal at all though. The gentleman working the desk was very nice. We went up to our room and the neither of the keys would work. I went back to the front desk and due to the employee being the only one working, I had to wait for him to assist me. I explained that our keys didn't work. He sent me back to the room to wait for him. Turned out the batteries needed changed for the door. This wasn't an issue, but the issue that followed was frustrating. Keys still wouldn't work and the only way to get one to program was a "third party app" which meant we only got one key and the digital key in the Hilton app wouldn't work either. ||Tried to access side doors with key and they would not work. These doors included the exterior door to the pool and one of the side doors closest to where we would park. This was frustrating as it meant having to walk through the main entrance each time.||Hotel was nice, but the breakfast area left room to be desired. Waffles were good each day. Juice machine would run out and the oatmeal was not edible as it was more water than oat. Pool area was decent as our kids had fun. Staff was polite. Close to a lot of places which is helpful if you need something to eat. Also very close to King's Island. Would consider staying here again, but would probably look elsewhere first.
