My wife and I stayed at this property Dec29-30 2023 Room 418. Check in was very early AM. I was fatigued from traveling and the solemn occasion for the purpose of this visit to the area. Bill, the chief engineer greeted us at the front desk with a pleasant attitude. The young lady that checked us in was cool as well, but no name tag. Room was fine, neat, no issues at all. Breakfast was standard, area was clean. Plenty of parking, several restaurants close. I would have no objection staying here again.

The rooms were absolutely immaculately clean, and the staff was Extremely pleasant to interact with. Everybody was Was very polite and all smiles. One of the better locations I’ve ever stayed. Traci The night manager went out of her way to make My check-in was quick and painless. Wonderful staff!

Stopped in for a single night on a business trip, and this hotel fit the need perfectly. Easy parking, check in, and polite staff. Room was clean & everything functioned properly. Hotel has been updated with modern styling & brighter colors. Met all expectations of a Hampton & Would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago Southland-Matteson and had a fantastic experience. The hotel's staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The rooms were clean, well-appointed, and provided a cozy retreat. The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of options, and the overall ambiance was warm and inviting. The convenient location made it easy to explore the area. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

I liked it. A clean and comfortable room. The bed squeaked. The windows didn't have black out shades. The shower basin was squeaky as well. It is definitely older but the bed was comfortable and everything was clean and in good repair. It was a nice room and a good place to stay. I will stay here again. I love Hilton. I prefer a Home2Suites locations but there isn't one near my destination for this trip.

This would have been a better review but my stay was not pleasant at all. I was even going to omit the fact that my room had flies in it. I had the same experience that a previous reviewer had about getting in at night after a funeral. Night desk person was not nice and seem to have been annoyed with anyone who asked her something. Better training and customer service needs to be provided at this location. I’m a Diamond member and have never felt like this at any other Hilton associated property.

The only complaint I have is that the water wouldn’t really go down when I took a shower. Other than that; This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in so far. The staff was so helpful and friendly. One of the ladies came out and helped me and I didn’t even have to ring the bell. And the pool was so nice! And don’t even get me started on the room. So clean and so comfortable and spacious. 9/10 definitely recommend!

Horrible service at the front desk. Not sure if the staff was new or not, it took her more than 30 mins to check us in and wanted to charge our cards for the room that we had already paid in advance. In the end the manager named Jennifer came to help her out but she made me feel like talking to a custom officer. A little smile wouldn’t hurt I guess? The room and the whole property is very aged, esp the AC inside the room is very loud. 2 bottles of water were given in the room. When I finished and asked for more, the front desk told me that I will have to pay if I want more. Guess what, I stayed another Hampton in Chicago the day before and the front desk over there told me that I could have as many as I want. Any consistency within the hotel group in the same city?!?
