Hampton Inn & Suites Buffalo Downtown - Hotel in Buffalo - 220 Delaware Ave, USA

We came through Buffalo for a family trip of the northeast. We were lucky to be there during the Taste of Buffalo. The location for the Taste of Buffalo event is perfect and the event is fun and tasty. The hotel if comfortable, the breakfast was great. The staff was very nice and parking was no issue, easy in and out. It is a bit confusing during the Taste of Buffalo event to find the entrance so call the hotel to ensure you know the correct street to turn onto.

Aurora should not be in a position of customer service. I have stayed here a few times for work and had a good experience overall. Unfortunately, one poor employee is all it takes to receive a detractor. The incident: I received my stay charges and noticed I was charged for an additional day that I requested canceled. I called the Hotel to inform on the matter. Aurora immediately raised her voice to me, was aggressive and disputed the fact. She then checked with a co-worker and confirmed that they failed to put in my check-out. No apology, nothing. To say Aurora was unprofessional is putting it lightly. I will no longer be staying at this hotel, unfortunately.

We stayed for a Saturday night over Thanksgiving weekend, and I was so thrilled with the experience staying here. We came here exhausted, and the woman checking us in was a breath of fresh air after an early train ride, and she let us drop off our bags early so that we could see the city. (Loved the Buffalo AKG Museum!). She also provided excellent restaurant recommendations in the area, and genuinely wanted to help. I loved the breakfast -- great options (oatmeal, omelets, soy milk, cereal, potatoes, sausage, yogurt, muffins, you name it), the clean pool, the super relaxing hot tub, and the spacious room. If I come back to Buffalo, I'd definitely stay here again. I found the staff throughout the hotel to be super friendly and kind, and it just made it a warm and comfortable experience.

We have stayed several times a month for well over a year for business travel and arrive late . Usually midnight or later. George at the front desk is always welcoming and kind. We appreciate how nice he is after a long flight and a late arrival.

Breakfast was amazing! Coffee at all hours. Fit 5 in a room!! Yay for big families! The indoor pool is heated and has a whirlpool too. The fitness center is larger than expected. Laundry facility is great for light packers!

I stayed here on November 27-28, 2023 for work. I have to say the staff was very nice and accommodating. My heat wasn't working properly in my room so Aurora, the manager at the front desk, gave me her personal heater to take to my room for my stay. She didn't have to do that and I thought that was very nice of her to do so. My little nephew came to visit the next day and they gave him a little treat and he was so happy he said he wanted to come stay at the hotel again lol. I appreciate everyone at the hotel being so nice. Thank you guys!

Nice clean hotel right downtown. Friendly staff. Very nice complimentary breakfast. Room has a coffeemaker, mini fridge and microwave. Disappointed that there was no safe in the room, but you could leave valuables behind the front desk. We stayed four nights. First three were fine, but on our last night, the music coming from Waves (the restaurant downstairs) was deafening. It was blasting from 9 pm until 2 am. It felt like we were at the party. At first I thought the music was coming from one of the adjacent rooms (it was that loud) but when I called the front desk they told me it was from Waves, and they couldn’t do anything about it. We were on the second floor, room 208. I think right above the restaurant. Should warn people that this can be a noisy room.

My room had a used soap in the shower so I don't know how clean it actually was. Front Desk and breakfast people were friendly and welcoming. Not much to say about location as I didn't venture out in the snow.
