Hampton Inn & Suites Brenham - Hotel in Brenham - 2605 Schulte Blvd, USA

I'm visiting for the weekend, the first time in Brenham! Staff was kind and efficient to let us check in before 4 pm. Rooms, clean!! Thank you!! Breakfast included, even better!! Loved the atmosphere! Would highly recommend!!!!

The room was clean and had ample towels, for the 4 of us. But the breakfast and service was great, and beyond our expectations. Delfina from the breakfast lounge was exceptional and professional. If we had a request or something was running low, she was quick to get it together for the guests. I’d stay here again, no doubt.

It's a Hampton, so you always start with 2-3 stars. Yes, it was clean and the bed was comfy. When checking in, I mentioned that when I made the reservation a couple of weeks ago, I put in a note requesting top floor. The desk clerk had suddenly gone deaf as she handed me my 2nd floor room keys (and I'm a Diamond member - no extra respect). The AC made a strange whine, even when it wasn't running. I tried to keep the fan on for noise, but it wasn't possible. We still could sleep so we did. In the morning I wanted a cup of coffee to go. No cups around the coffee urns. I mentioned it to the clerk, she just stared blankly. Another guest mentioned that she saw coffee cups in the buffet by the juice. I went in and got my cup only to learn the coffe urns were both empty at 8:30 am. I knew there was no point in talking to the clerk about it. 3-stars is the absolute best I can give this Hampton.

Check- in was not smooth especially when you have a general manager who is more concerned with a pissing contest as opposed to actually trying to clear up misunderstandings. For years, as a business traveler, I get points even though corporate pays for and books my room. Evidently, something went wrong with my points and Larissa Dietrich (the general manager) made sure she corrected me (scolded is more accurate) at the front desk in the most abrasive fashion she could muster. Using her hands while speaking to me as if to shut me up. You know, that’s how you talk to a 5 year old. Very disrespectful.—— To make matters worse, the TV is a nightmare to operate and I found a giant zip-loc bag of leftover fried chicken 🍗 in the refrigerator. Evidently, Miss big time general manager doesn’t check her rooms….. Not sure what’s worse: the fact that she was so abrasive and disrespectful OR that she felt TOTALLY comfortable behaving that way with a guest with a misunderstanding…..

Clean rooms, clean buffet area and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was in line with what you'd expect from other Hampton Inns or Holiday Inn Express locations. Hot breakfast with eggs, potatoes and either sausage or bacon is nice and convenient. On note, the road for the hotel is easy to miss.

You’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but for this hotel looking nice on the outside was not by any means on the inside. Despite the new floor getting put in the rooms stink! The TV is small the beds are not comfortable and the bathroom needs to be renovated Staff could have been more inviting as well as check out. Could have been more pleasing. I really honestly don’t think it’s worth the price lesson learned. I tried it didn’t like it won’t do it again thank you anyway.

Very nice, quiet, and clean hotel. Good breakfast with eggs, waffles, fruit, potatoes, sausage, muffins, oatmeal, juice, and coffee. Staff was very nice and pleasant. We did not have any issues or problems.

The hotel was undergoing renovations, and the room rate reduced to accommodate for more inconvenience. The hotel is well maintained with the landscaping freshly mulched. The breakfast was excellent: eggs, sausage, red potatoes; hot oatmeal, make your own pancakes, fresh cut fruit. The room was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of outlets for charging with both plugs and usb outlets.
