I stayed one night while in the area on business. Nice location overlooking the water. It’s within a two minute walk to several restaurants. My room had a slight view of the water. The room was spacious and clean. The air conditioner lowered to 64 which kept the room nice and cool. A constant fan option would be nice to help drown out the seagulls and people taking as they walked past the hotel from the ferry. The bed was comfortable. Overall, I had a decent stay.
The good: location on Bremerton waterfront next to ferry terminal. Staff were friendly and checked in with us during our stay. We received a complimentary upgrade to a slightly larger room which was clean.
The bad: this is an older hotel which is in need of maintenance & renovation, as other reviews have noted.
The meh: parking is $10/night, and may be a challenge to find a spot.
Coming back. We stayed here two weekends in a row. First weekend couldnt get the TV to get more than 3 channels BUT the second weekend (different room) all channels came in. I really loved the many modern outlets to use for charging all types of electronics and the VIEW was amazing. The navy ship for touring and the walking path on the bay is gorgeous. The privacy shades were an extra plus and the pillows are so soft! McKayla was exceptionally helpful and made our afternoon with the kids when we passed thru the lobby and got to have her freshly made (still warm!) cookies. Within a block to the Ferry terminal and a variety of eateries nearby made this a definite return favorite! And the hot breakfast was great too! Many choices and plenty of nice seating. All staff we encountered were smiling and polite and the parking was clearly marked. Thank you for a great time times 2!
Chose this hotel for a little staycation girls weekend. Perfect location for walking around the marina/boardwalk/Fountain Park. Plenty of restaurant choices within a short walk. The room was a good size with super high ceilings (unfortunately, that didn't dampen the sound of elephants(?) running around in the room above us, though). We had a wonderful view of the marina and the USS Turner Joy. Really great selection for the free breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay here again for a staycation.
Was not informed of pool closure. Pool, view and access to ferry was the reasons i booked this hotel. Asked for view. Didn't get one. Was on first floor. Had homeless waving to me staring in my window. Front staff was rude from the initial check in. I can be rude when needed however this employee was shockingly rude. Told me if I complain again she was kicking us out of the hotel without a refund. We checked out. Went elsewhere. She was also busy typing away covering her bottom. I'm pretty sure lying about how she treated us. Was told that the pool being closed was all over the website. I informed her and tried to show her that I screenshot the site and it was not listed as closed. I obviously was an upset guest. 250 a night with no view. No pool and had to close the blind in my room.
Amazing hotel, plenty of dining in walking distance. Stayed here for 6 nights, the rooms are large, I had an amazing view of the USS JOY ( Naval museum), the pier and the ferry. Most of the staff were friendly. Breakfast was pretty good. We had on different days waffles, French toast, cereal, boiled eggs, potatoes, scrambled eggs, toast , danish, yummy crispy bacon, juices , coffee, muffins and fresh fruit
When I travel, I stay with Hampton religiously this hotel chain has always treated me well.
I believe the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. I wish the room was better though m!!
when I came in the smoke detector had its batteries ripped out, and there was the unmistakable odor of cigarette smoke…. I’m traveling with my dog this time and I feel like I get to see a different side of this hotel train when you’re traveling with a pet… the carpet is wet and I don’t want my dog to walk on it because I don’t want him to get on the floor on his paws and fur… I wish something could be done about the cigarette smoke… close to Seattle. This is the most I paid for a Hampton stay, and unfortunately, unfortunately I think this is the worst I have had with this hotel. I do plan to stay with this company in the future… just not at this location
Firstly the parking was a nightmare. Loads of the parking lot was entirely dedicated to the restaurant such that there were not enough spaces for hotel guests and there literally was not a place for us to park. The lobby was tired and run down, lots of permanently stained chairs. There were weird smells. The lobby, the elevator lobby, the elevator itself all had uniquely distinct, very weird and unpleasant smells. We did not feel unsafe or anything, but we would definitely not recommend.

Best latte Iâve had on the peninsula(maple latte)! Super good espresso and a cozy environment that has plenty of space and different types of seating for working/reading. Definitely will be back regularly!
