Hampton Inn & Suites Bloomington-Normal - Hotel in Normal - 320 S Towanda Ave, USA

I booked 2 rooms; one was ready on 3pm check in and the other was not, and we were told it would be ready in 30 min. We went to a restaurant next door for an hour and upon returning were given a key to a room with that looked like it had been abandoned halfway through the cleaning and the temperature in the room was about 90F. Upon going back to the desk we were given keys to a different room on a different floor where there was a loogy on the counter and toothpaste on the faucet. At our request the person at the front desk wiped down the sink area for us. One of our rooms had dark mold in the shower and the climate control didn't work correctly. Guest screaming next door were an unwanted 2am wake up call. Additionally - though we didn't go in there due to lack of cleanliness in the rooms - part of the pool area was unavailable to guests. Also, very small thing, but Honors members are normally given bottles of water on check in and this was not done - only given for one room when we had to swap the room because in was not ready for guests. Positives: the staff was pleasant and location good; negatives; rooms were not clean and auto setting on climate control didn't work. Our stay was not even close to worth the rate we paid. Hopefully you'll have a better experience.

Great little hotel in a convenient location. Walking distance to a ton of shopping and dining options. It’s a typical Hampton Inn, decent hot, free breakfast each morning. Maid service every other day. Little store area to buy water, soda or whatever you forgot. Rooms are big sized and clean.

A well-maintained hotel in an excellent location. It's within walking distance from possibly every need a traveler might have; large variety of restaurants, department stores, grocery stores, a gym, fast food, you name it, it's within walking distance. This is one of those previous generation Hampton Inns with dark cherry furniture and classical antique-looking bed, bathroom counters, mirror frame instead of those colorful art pieces on the walls, bright color lamp shades whatnot, but yet it is very well maintained,very clean, comfortable, and a pleasant place to stay. I highly recommend this location as a good choice to stay in the area.

The Bloomington-Normal hotel was the best Hampton Inn in which I have stayed. The place was spotless. Very attentive staff. A nice, conveniently setup room (in the 2 queen beds room). Looked very much the part of a more expensive hotel. I came in from the east on I-74 and had a long & slow trip to the hotel. When I left in a westward direction, the trip to the interstate was fast and easy.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Hampton Inn in Normal Illinois. The staff and workers were very nice to us. The room and facilities were great especially the comfortable bed and swimming pool was fun. The dinning crew were spot on with a nice breakfast for us each morning. Thank you Meredith for being so extra nice to us! 💯

We stay at Hampton inn most times when traveling, so we've been to many different locations. This was by far the worst. If it was the first time I ever stayed at a Hampton Inn, I would never stay at another. The carpet was disgusting, bed uncomfortable. The decor was dated and beat up. The toilet was so low that I really felt like I had dug a hole in the ground and then was squatting over it. The TV was small and the breakfast was lacking in comparison to the typical breakfast at a Hampton inn. NO WAFFLE MAKER. The only thing this location has going for it, is its location and the great brewery/restaurant next door.

The staff is nice and the breakfast was acceptable but the hotel is in complete disrepair. The sink faucet water barely came out. The furnace was so loud clanking we had to turn it off. Shelf missing, door stop ripped off then poked back into wall, sink AND shower did not drain…

Great hotel with friendly staff and a great centralized location. Close to pretty much anything a traveler may need with lots of shopping options, a gym, and restaurants either walking distance or a quick drive to close by in the area. The room was much bigger than I expected, well kept, clean and had a great workplace desk for me to catch up on business. Bed was comfy and it was very quiet. I will definitely stay here again if I return to the area.
