We enjoyed our stay in Amesbury very much! Our room at this Hampton was very clean and well appointed. It was the perfect lodging for a few days while visiting family in the area. Commendable front desk staff, as well as other hotel employees, which is not always the case these days. We will definitely stay again! Kudos to the Manager in charge!
Hands down, probably the best hotel accommodation, excellent customer service. We were greeted the moment we walked in the door and the moment we left. I had asked for additional towels and within minutes I had them. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Great location for what we were in town for, would definitely book here again!
This hotel is advertised as pet friendly. Anyone else surprised by the excessively high $75 charge levied on them upon check in? I've stayed at this hotel before and never been charged a pet fee. Had I known about the fee before booking I probably would have chosen a different hotel. But the hotel charge was non refundable so I had no choice but to fork over another $75. Not staying here again!
Very nice accommodations minutes from Newburyport and Plum Island. Staff went out of their way to honor room requests despite being very busy. Spacious, clean room with ecofriendly amenities, comfy bed, good lighting. Complimentary breakfast, free parking, pool on site. Competitively priced. I stayed there for two nights on July 4th weekend. My room was clean and quiet. The beds are very comfortable. The front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was meh, and so as the lady (not sure what her name is) there. She is little on the rude side.
Positive: The location was key for my family. Enjoyed the all-day coffee & continental breakfast. Negative: The hotel itself was fine
Nice hotel, serious dog infestation. Barking dogs, growling dogs, a large pit bull attempted to force his way into the elevator as the doors were closing, fought him off. Can you imagine being stuck in an elevator with a pit bull? My room was nice, but my assistant woke up full of flea bites from her room. So we went to the front desk to get some ointment, manager looked breifly in the back room, said that she didn't have any. This was last August, been avoiding Hampton Inns ever since. As we were leaving, before mentioned pit bull was using the grass by my car as his toilet.
I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. Very clean. The breakfast attendant was wonderful (Her name was Gail I believe?). Kept the breakfast area very clean and stocked. I was at the front desk for about 10 minutes before someone came to help me. And Some of the front desk agents seemed as if they didn't know what they were doing...
Great location to find items made by local artisans. I've requested custom orders in the past and received nothing but amazing service, quality items, all at fair prices.
