If we could rate it ZERO we would. At the end of this review we will post pictures. Horrible conditions. Filthy dirty. There is no excuse for what it’s like. It should be shut down. The staff agreed and promptly refunded us. We wasted precious rest time and by the time we got to a decent hotel the dinner we picked up to enjoy was cold and we were exhausted. Such an awful experience!

The staff is awesome. The best. The owner should be ashamed. Walls dirty and definitely old. Pay for paint. Ceiling has stuff on it. Yuck. Sleeping w a light on. My carpet is wet and smells. The front desk will take care of it. Thank you. Not as clean as I like. I travel all the time. Beds are comfy. Sprayed Lysol and wiped down myself. I’ll stay at the bed and breakfast next time I come through town.

This was the absolute worse Hampton Inn that my husband and I have ever been a guest of. The owners should be ashamed as the facility does not meet the expectations of the name "Hampton Inn". We upgraded our room to a king size jacuzzi suite. The walls were poorly patched and painted. Mirror for the closet door was held up with gray duck tape. The bathroom had mold and very bad water damage to the ceiling. Shower floor was mold/mildew and poorly repaired with caulk and peeling paint. The fridge made a horrible noise all night. An ant was in the bed. The jacuzzi tub hot water leaked when in use. The pool also did not appear to be properly cleaned with chlorine and there was hose running water into the pool consistently. Room 115 is the absolute worse room and it does not need to be available to any other guest until completely renovated. I wish we could demand a full refund for this deplorable stay. If I had to rate it would be a -0 for me.

0/5 rating on the room and service. The Hampton Inn Americus needs to be closed for renovations and fumigation. My family and I were surprised at the poor conditions of this hotel. Just think of a bug, and they have it. I reported to Johnny, the manager, the following morning after we had checked into room 204 of the bed bugs that I had awaken to and 2 large cockroaches I saw on the wall during the night. He was nice upon complaint. He told me that the GM does compensation. The GM will send maintenance to our room to inspect the beds for bugs. If any are found that we would be reimbursed. Well, no maintenance guy came and no funds reimbursed. I even invited Johnny inside the room to see the bed bugs for himself when he came to room 204 to hand me the keys to room 103, but he declined. Per his request, I texted him the photos. He stated that he'll place us in a cleaner room which would be cleaned by the housekeeper supervisor. Well, the next room #103, was worst. My mother killed a flying roach that came from under the mattress onto the open bed that night. My kids were afraid to fall asleep. Correction, we were all afraid to fall asleep. There were spiders in room 103 with webs, dust mites, termites that was crawling in and out the mouth opening of my tumbler, ants, and bed bugs. There were mold on the ceiling and walls. The curtain had holes, dusts, no strings attached to pull blind up for natural light. My body is covered with bug bites. The pool covered with dead bugs, leaves, and the water was green. Horrible. Don't book here. Save yourselves the uncomfortable stay and your dollars.

Small, outdated Hampton but looks like they're slowly trying to upgrade it. Even noticed that they have an electric car charger station. Friendly staff and clean rooms. They had warm cookies set out when I arrived. My only complaint was the horrible noise my heating/cooling unit made when it came on. It did keep the room cool though so there's that!! Breakfast was ok. I liked it more because they had grits.

People were very friendly. Hampton Inn is our go to place but this location's rooms have declined in cleanliness. Shower amenities were not replenished, and getting towels and TP was a hassle. Not sure why property has declined but not sure we will stay here again!

This Hampton Inn is a case study on how not to run a hotel. Our troubles began only minutes after checking in. We were given a deplorable and unsanitary room with barely functioning air conditioning on a 100-degree day. After shutting the blinds, re-setting the unit multiple times, turning it to the lowest possible setting, and allowing two hours for things to cool, we gave up and asked the front desk for a new room. The attendant initially refused our request, insisting she “needed to investigate our room” before she did anything. 30 minutes later, she arrived at our door with keys to an alternate unit, saying that maintenance had confirmed previous issues with our room’s AC. While our new unit had functional air conditioning, it could only be described as a squalid 90s time capsule. Mold, water damage, dried blood, uncleaned floors, pubic hair and fingernails in the bedsheets, and dilapidated and ill-maintained walls. Yet in this regard, it was no worse than our first room. Later that evening, my wife visited the lobby area to obtain disposable utensils from the breakfast area. The same woman who had refused us earlier was still at the desk. Unprompted, the desk lady remarked that she had visited our old room and that, in her opinion, the temperature was “fine.” My wife replied that although it may have been fine for her, it was too hot for us. The woman reiterated her earlier point: "It would have been absolutely fine if she'd stayed there,” and then added that she was “soOOOoo glad we could accommodate your request,” with a very passive aggressive attitude. Taken aback by the rudeness, my wife replied, “Yeahhhh, ME too” and promptly left. The next day wasn't much better. Breakfast options were limited; aside from apples of questionable cleanliness, individual containers of canned peaches, and packs of salsa, no fruits or vegetables were available. Even worse, the coffee was undrinkable as it literally tasted unsafe. The only positive aspect of our stay was a snappily-dressed young man who greeted us after breakfast and during checkout. His positive attitude, professional demeanor, and humor were greatly appreciated. That said, one good apple can’t save a rotten bunch — we won’t be returning.

Two stars for the fitness center. The fitness center is absolutely terrible. Treadmill, not working. Elliptical, not working. Stationary bike, not working. No wipes to clean equipment. No water. Dumbbell weights are nasty and sticky, yes sticky. No AC adjustment. No tv remote. I travel extensively and have seen several fitness centers that could use a little TLC, but this one needs a complete makeover. If you like using the fitness center when traveling you may want to find a different hotel, this definitely does not even come close to Hilton expectations.
