We just had the most amazing and relaxing winter retreat at The Hampton House Hotel! I fully recommend HH for a quiet get away during the hustle and bustle of the Holiday season. We had an ocean front room with the most amazing view. We brought some extra blankets and sat on the balcony each morning to watch the sunrise. We went for walks on the boardwalk each day and then took a drive along the picturesque New Hampshire coast. This was the Perfect location! The staff were all amazing, welcoming and helpful. They had a board at the front desk with all the local restaurants that were still open during the winter season - we had been concerned about finding an open place to eat - but we had plenty of options. Thank you so much Hampton House Hotel! We had a marvelous experience!
I stayed here for 2 nights hike I ran the Smuttynose Rockfest half marathon. It is convenient to the race , easy short walk to the race and the packet pickup. Parking is easy. The ocean is across the street. There are several restaurants within easy walking distance . ||We had an ocean view room. The room was clean and has a nice balcony. ||The hotel was full one night, and it didn’t feel crowded and I didn’t hear any noise from other guests. ||The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. This really made my stay.||I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area
The Hampton House Hotel did not disappoint! The room was great! It was clean, the bed and bedding all looked new, sparkly clean . When they did laundry you could smell just a hint bleach, a comforting feeling. The beds were so comfortable, along with the comforter and the pillows. ||The room had a fantastic view for a partial view, great clear view of the beach. In the room was a larger than normal fridge with plenty of space. A downfall was no hairdryer in the room, microwave, or in-room coffee/tea. In the lobby 24 hours a day is access to coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. ||The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful with answers to questions. The parking was right on site and free. ||There are many places within walking distance. Our vehicle remained parked for the majority of the trip. ||I can’t wait to go back.
Easy experience. Free Parking garage. The facility isright on the beach. Early October weather was great not many people and cars about that was good as you had to travel inland a bit for open eateries. Only minutes away.
This little place isn't the Taj Mahal but it's affordable, right on the beach, clean, and friendly. I must note that Bob at the front desk was unbelievably friendly and polite. He's got the accent, the charm, and knowledge of the area. What a gem. I'd definitely come back.
Great place on the beach. Clean.❤️ Everyday we saw rooms being cleaned for newcomers. They do stress they don’t do everyday cleans…. But will accommodate your wishes. We were ok with no room service for just 2 days…. But we requested some fresh towels. We called she staff was there in 15 minutes!!!! We loved the proximity to the beach. We loved the complimentary coffee and hot chocolate. Excellent customer service. Super friendly.✌️👍 The balcony facing the ocean was awesome!!! One SMALL inconvenience….. is one side of the bed did not have an outlet. Plugged my phone elsewhere. Inconvenience…. Please update that.🫶 Otherwise…. GREAT place and will definitely stay again here at the beach!!!👍
Cute and accommodating hotel. Clean, near everything. Excellent 24 hour customer service at front desk. Parking for one car. Garage. Rooms have a fridge, but no microwave or coffee machine. Coffee available in lobby. Nice bathrooms. Right across St from beach.
Very friendly front desk. Best location in the beach away from intensity of the crowds and also with a nice view. Room was large and clean. Parking available tons of food nearby and easy to get to Odiorne point state park. It’s a bit pricey I felt for what it offers. No hairdryer or bathtub. Looking at the beach from your room and having a morning coffee was beautiful. I would stay there again.
