Nice athletic space tho I don't recommend playing tennis here as pickleball is squeezing out tennis. The noise from pickleball and the basketball courts make it impossible to hear your opponent and the sound of their racquet hitting the ball. Did have a nice match there but it was a challenge to focus. Parking could have been designed better. Why waste parking spaces by trying to squeeze in pockets of grass and small trees among the parking spaces? Could easily be 20 or 30 more parking spaces if the space were used more efficiently, especially given the large number of activities that can take place simultaneously at the park.

I go here to speed walk occasionally because of the step inversions on the walking trail, I just wish the walking trail was longer at least 1 mile, so that I don't have to keep going in circles basically while I am walking and I can just flow in my walking regiment. What you do have thus far is very decently laid out, thank you and I choose this location because it's literally within walking distance of my home so it's super convenient.

Nice enough park but putting fences across walking paths is kinda frustrating. Also, bathrooms are rather far from the playgrounds

If you are looking to play pickleball here, DO NOT COME. Although the courts are free to play, most people reserve them out and kick you out if you are not part of the reservation. This happened to me twice so far. The groups that reserve the courts are to themselves; they will not play with you / ask if you want to play with them. When asked how I can join the group, they would say that the group is full. Overall, the courts at Hammond Park is very nice, but the people who play at the courts are not.

This is a very nice park with tennis courts, baseball courts and grilling stations. Highly recommend

Nice park right in Dunwoody. I didn't stay long, just to walk the dog. It was nice to see 2 EV charging stations. More of these should be installed in available spaces around the city. I don't have an electric car but I'm sure that will be unavoidable before I pass.

Still love coming to play kickball at this park. Would really be nice if the soccer players would move off the field while we are playing. We are only there from 7 to 9, and they continue to be on the field. We have to constantly stop for stray balls, and they are rude enough to set goals up in the field of play, blocking outfielders. It's absolutely ridiculous how many times the GO umps have to stop to kick them off the field. And it gets very wordy with them. Someone will get hurt if this issue is not addressed soon. We all pay money to be there, but where is the respect?????
