Hammock Inn & Suites North Beach Hotel - Hotel in Seaside Heights - 1402 Boulevard, USA

Location was fine. Room was disgusting. Paint job is shotty throughout. They even painted over a sign that says "do not lean" on the wobbly deck rail. My bathroom towel (rack) was a foot from my COT (not in the bathroom) Light didn't work for 2 hours, when it did turn on it was an obnoxious fluorescent light with a flicker. Alternate light was a little thing on the microwave that was stacked on top of the mini fridge which was more like a night light. It smelt like some old lady perfume. I could not stay the night. We left at 10:30pm and drove home 2 hours. For the amount of $364.60 is criminal. Not a single picture on the website is correct except for the building.

I want to start by saying never go off of reviews you read online always check places out for yourself. We booked a last minute overnight beach vacation and this could’ve been a better place. I have a two-year-old daughter so I like to stay pretty close to the beach it also Has a pool & is conveniently located about a block block and a half from the boardwalk convenient parking on site. Very clean rooms. And the customer service was amazing. The people running this building truly care and you can tell.

It's about 2 blocks from the boardwalk n 1 block over from the jersey shore house who knew lol. Everyone was very nice n friendly. The food was really good. Love these kinds places. it's a family friendly place, just needs alil updating in the rooms n the beds sux n I had to fold my pillow in half so I didn't get the best night sleep but that was it. The place was really cute and we enjoyed it for an overnight stay.

Not at all what we expected. The rooms are nothing like what is pictured!!! We booked a 2bedroom suite with 2 queen beds and a daybed. We got one room with 2 full beds and a couch. Tv did not work. Lamp did not work so had to sleep with bathroom light on or else its complete darkness. Could not get in touch with anyone to help fix room. No ice machine it was actually laying in hallway on floor. Not enough parking. Room was dirty. Not enough pillows/blankets. They told us we would not be charged for parking as we had more than 1 car but after we left they charged an additional $94 for parking. Website says free continental breakfast...there was not even a bottle of water. For almost $600 i was highly disappointed for the one night we stayed. Do not recommend this place at all. Glad we only had to sleep a few hours n leave. Only positive is the closeness to the beach.

I have seen a lot of bad reviews for this place. I disagree wholeheartedly and for what you are paying for it, it's the perfect shore stay. My room was very clean and comfortable. I had a fridge and a microwave. The bathroom was clean and had great water pressure. The wifi worked great, I had no issues connecting. The staff / manager were exceptionally helpful, kind and attentive. I was continually asked if I had what I needed and was offered help carrying things to the room or to my car as I was on my own. I felt safe and was never bothered by any "riff raff" you may expect when staying somewhere that is not a chain 5 star hotel. I had great neighbors and had a wonderful time here. The location was exceptional. A VERY short walk to the boardwalk / beach area. You cannot get a better deal on a closer place for the price. If you are looking for a luxury hotel to stay inside the entire time you are at the shore, this isn't for you. You cannot expect a Hilton for the nightly charge here. However, I personally come to the shore to be AT THE SHORE, on the shore and on the boardwalk. I am just in the room to sleep, change and shower. I am not a snob or a Karen and was so grateful for this place and this trip. As a single one income household mother, I can finally afford to vacation at my favorite shore point regularly. I will absolutely be back and will bring my daughter with me. If I could rate this place 10 stars I would to counteract all the the bad reviews given. I have stayed at much worse hotels on this shoreline, and let me tell you this one was by far the best in my budget.

Stay away!! This property is NOT as advertised. Google shows large beds and a well furnished room but that is the exact opposite of what we got. For an abhorrent sum of 900$, we got a small, musty cot and a few square feet of space, along with a mold in the shower area. Sheets were paper thin and uncomfortable. Definitely not the same property that they advertise, not the same building or anything. Hope they invest in some better beds with the money we paid smh. Only thing good about this place is the location bc it’s close to the beach.

DO NOT GO HERE. the guy told us our room was paid for and then he randomly took $120 out of our accounts and when we confronted him about it he blamed it on his “computer system” and snatched the receipt out of my friends hand and ripped it. the rooms floor were dirty and dusty. the guy switched our room because he didn’t have the keys for our original room that we paid for. no trash cans anywhere in the room. shower is so small and can barley even move. light bulb was out in our room. when we tried to check out the guy was no where to be found and we had to call and no reply at all. our room window blinds didn't close fully and everyone could see into our room we had to cover the window with a towel. absolutely ridiculous.

Location was excellent and the staff were friendly & helpful. The rooms are clean but a little outdated. The pool was a great bonus. would definitely stay here again! can't beat the price and location.
