All of the staff at Ham Lake are friendly and caring. They treat my animals like their own each and every visit, they take their time explaining what I need to know so I can fully care for my pet once I leave and get home. Each of their Veterinarians is caring and well informed. I always find I learn something about my pet after each visit.

Dr. Thomas is AMAZING! Been going to him for years and he always is super friendly, confident, and tells you everything you need to know! He has lots of experience and knowledge and is super helpful!

We are very disappointed in the lack of care or concern for our dog. We are established clients there. Our dog had been throwing up for 2 days . When my husband called after the first day of vomiting he was given instructions that we followed. He was told if it continued to call the next day and they would get her in. He called the next day Day 2 and was told they could not get her in because there was no openings. He told them she hasn’t kept anything down for 2 days. All they would do for us is set up an appointment for the next day. My husband called another veterinarian office which we had never been to before and they worked us in right away and were very concerned about our family member. Needless to say he canceled the appointment for tomorrow and we will not be bringing our dogs there again.

They got us in same day when my dog was peeing blood. I called everywhere . Her vet was full and other vets said they weren't taking new patients. Even when peeing blood. Vet tech Kayla went above and beyond. Super nice staff. Very polite. Informative. 100% recommend. We have used them before for my cats and for another dogs surgery and have never had an issue.

I wish that I could put 0 stars. My mom recently brought her cat into this vet place. There were 5 of us that wanted to see the passing of the beloved family member. We all witnessed this passing. On Aug 17 at 9:40 am is when the appointment was, we walked in quiet and then went straight the room. After the vet tech came in she had asked if the cat has ever biten anyone and my mom had replied "no, but I might." (Trying to lighten the mood and bring her spirits up.) After the passing of her beloved cat, the doctor asked if we wanted a box to the the cat in, when she had said no, he asked if she wanted a bag to put her in just incase the cat peed. But then they had the nerve to send my mom a letter stating that they would no longer assist her in any more of her animals due to my mom saying "no, but I might." This place has no sense of morals nor humor and not even respect for the passing of a person's loved one.

Our experience with the staff and surgery team was amazing. They answered all questions I had. The surgery team provided videos to help with rehab for our dog after her surgery. Everyone was extremely friendly. Everyone at Ham Lake Vet Hospital really made this go smoothly. Thank you again.
