I have not been down Main Street in about 15 years. I am happy Halva delivers on food apps. Authentic Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine is unique in my heart as the neighbor to many people in Passaic County. All I will say is I have ordered from Halva many times in the last few years, and they do not disappoint with the traditional recipes made fast and ready to order. Halva stands out as a top-choice restaurant for me. I come here on a regular basis, and without fail, the food consistently impresses. The service is excellent, complementing the wide array of delicious dishes they offer.

I stop by for lunch, the owner’s and stuff’s hospitality were great. I ordered adana and liver , that was delicious as much as famous restaurants in Turkey. I highly recommend this place

Ordered takeout, Adana kebab platter (ground beef patty) came with two small strips and pita bread, a small salad and lentil soup for the lunch special, all small quantities but very flavorful. The eggplant dip is good. The Shish Kebab was a bit dry. Baklava was interesting and very sweet

They have the authentic Turkish blue-collar restaurant theme. Green salad, onion salad and ezme (sour/hot tomato salad) served as courtesy, free of charge. Must tries 1. Cop Shish 2. Liver Shish (if you are into entails) 3. Beyti 4. Chef Style Lokum (lamb cubes w butter, 😋) 5. Adana 6. Burger (as good as a boutique burger place) 7. Kokorec (if they have and if you are into entails) If you are sweet tooth 1. Pistachio Semolina Halva (their new innovation, leave it on top of your mouth let it melt. The pistachio, the sugar, the butter, semolina. I love any sweet but this is next level) 2. Simit Katmer ( perfect combination of cream and pistachio in a circle form of thin dough) 3. Katmer (Pistachio, thin layer of cream in envelope shape)
