I love the Kentucky Horse Park. I got to go to the Hall of Champions and pet and feed champion horses, such as 2001 Horse of the Year Point Given, 2003 Kentucky Derby winner Funny Cide. The show where some of the champions are shown is awesome. I also love Breeds show where you can see all the breeds in action. The museum is also great.
We learned a lot about the horses who have earned their stall in the barn. The barn is gorgeous. The presentation is very interesting and informative.
My dream come to life. I loved exploring every inch of this place. The barna, the horses, the groomers and barn keepers. It was so special.

What a fun place! $12 gets you access to the whole grounds and the opportunity to meet some of the greatest horse champions of all time! Paul was a wonderful and engaged guide who clearly has a passion for these magnificent creatures and their impressive histories!
Staff are WONDERFUL and always have been over the years. Get up close and personal with famous racehorses, Thoroughbred and Standardbred (they have had other breeds in the past too, but those residents have all passed on) and learn about them and their careers. I will never forget being able to say at just four years old that I had seen a Kentucky Derby winner (Bold Forbes) and they currently have one living Derby winner (Funny Cide) in their barn, as well as two Standardbred Triple Crown winners (Western Dreamer and Marion Marauder) and other horses too!
Got to see one of the champion of Kentucky Derby. Was fun to hear it’s stories and achievements.

Barn of past champions. All horse that have been or are now kept here are household names. Barn staff are present to answer questions and brag on these beauties.
Outside the barn is a small pavilion where they have a daily show where they narrate the horses career and interesting tidbits about the breed, gait and other interesting things. Walk past the pavilion and there are some of the graves of previous champions that once housed there. Great venue inside the horse park!
