Overall great experience at Half Door Brewing Company. Food was delicious, service was great (however not crazy busy) and the environment was fun. I had an Irish mule to drink which was AMAZING. We only got apps and sharing plates...the entrees looked delicious however. We enjoyed the BBQ Flatbread & pretzel bites the most.
Great brewery in Downtown San Diego. Beer was good. Bartendar was super friendly. I've read this place gets packed on game day but I guess we lucked as it wasn't busy at all.

Very very highly recommend for a date night! Extensive menu - beers were fresh and full of flavor as well as reasonably priced for the area. Vibe was nice inside and outside with heat lamps and had some nice games! To top it off service was outstanding - our server Spencer went above and beyond to cater to our needs and was very attentive! Great spot for a easy night out
Good food. Great beer. Even better service. I got the Hoban House and the pretzel bites, and loved both. Bonus: they have wifi if you want to do a bit of work in a great spot.
Combination of amazing service, excellent bartender and tasty beer. How can you not love it😍 The flight of 6 beer costs only like 16 dollars, which is a very nice price in this area, love it.
Overall this is a good spot to checkout in downtown San Diego as it has a very unique, “cottage” like vibe right in the centre of downtown… I’ve also heard it’s great on game days, though it’s always crazy busy. I specifically was disappointed in the “sausage Mac&cheese” it really doesn’t even feel right calling it mac&cheese.. kind of like a penne cream sausage pasta.. none the less, not good. The braised pork belly entree was good. Service wasn’t great by any stretch. Beers were good! I’d reco dropping in for some beers but nothing more…
This brewery // restaurant is just behind PETCO Park. They have a bar food menu but high quality. Irish ☘️ cheese on the shepherd’s pie 🥧 in a deep bowl. Come here when there’s no event at PETCO Park!

Iâve never said no to a Ballast Point beer/meal. Pretzel 𥨠bites w/mustard and cheese are great. Iâve enjoyed both the BBQ burger & now the pulled pork sandwich. Iâll probably stick with the pulled pork sandwich from now on, it was flavorful
